QUOTE(spring onion @ Jul 21 2014, 11:40 PM) property segment dominates i agree, this is why fitters have risen last year onwards. however as their renewable energy are building up, this would also be a factor too, fire services the demand will still be there... the main factor is the their premium PVC pipe Kutu malam! in my 2 cent la, being diversified is a good things to consider in a stock too, each segment will reducing the dependency of another. you may concern that property plays a much weightage here, but then if it's able to generate profits, and other segment are generating too, why not? I did say the chart is seeing some trading activities.... And suddenly I can understand why the trading activities on 17/7 and 18/7.... http://www.bursamalaysia.com/market/listed...cements/1690485 The chart knew before the news..... Err... see this is how and where the problem is. It's rojak (and I am repeating again) If you minus out the property earnings, Fitters other business earnings is really kuci mai. Fact: Last year, Ah fit fit profit before tax is 57 million. Out of 57 million, 42.3 million came from property segment. This works to 74%. Put it bluntly, Ah fit fit others business isn't worth much laaaaaa....... And where/what is Fitters classified as? A Trading company - it's under trading sector and NOT property sector.... For the money it earns, Fitters is not getting its full credit from the market. The funds aren't treating it seriously... That's my 3 sen opinion.... ooops.... uncle calling me liao.... |

QUOTE(Boon3 @ Jul 22 2014, 12:02 AM) Shit... all the kutu malam come out. Gadang, looks like wave 4 correction ( flat & long correction), wave 3 was act 2013 till april 2014. I used to have this... lucky for me, I sold. This for me was a good stock. Nearly a no brainer. New stations started mushrooming constantly all over the country which equals growth for PetDag. And as mentioned before, once the growth ends, you have to get out. You cannot be loving the stock forever. It doesn't work this way. The stock WILL correct.... and correct drastically it will. When to get out? Last 5 quarters, 4 quarters showed declining profits. To be more exact, profit fell for 3 consecutive quarters. Not enough signal to tell the trader to lock in their profits? ps: Gadang got dunno what announcement... Normally if wave 2 is short & steep, wave 4 will be flat & looong. BTW never looked at PETDAG before, just came to my attention when some one blogged - from RM 30 to RM 20... This post has been edited by ctrl_alt_del: Jul 22 2014, 12:35 AM |

the net profits of PETDAG have been decreasing since the third quarterly report FY 2013, sold down heavily after the recent quarter announcement. profits are important for a company!

QUOTE(spring onion @ Jul 22 2014, 12:14 AM) .... so what did you see in the charts? ![]() See how the stock price 'stalled' after a long, long run up? Volume remained relatively strong despite the stalled prices...... I did not like what I see..... and once the stock broke out of the stalled trading range.... the chart broke down. ![]() |

I dont know why PetDag can rally so much. In fact, it was not attractive at all even when it was around RM18. I took a look when they announce a big divvy last time. It has been going up nonstop ever since the divvy announcement.
