Samething. Goes to TWRP :S. I am thinking of wiping and restoring. But why did this happen? How can I get knockcode then :S.. so weird. Just coz I am rooted.. is this suppose to happen?
*
U updated official update via TWRP? that's the reason . you should never perform official update via custom recoveries .

Full wipe might help as it will remove the update files. Or just follow the bootloop thread instruction in XDA for official update with custom recoveries .

I updated via stock rom through OTA update :S n now it boots to TWRP even after I tried to restore from TWRP.

http://forums.androidcentral.com/general-h...nload-mode.html

I read this and it says to type something. Any idea whr I have to type this?
*
As long as u have custom recovery, don't perform OTA if not most of the time u will face Boot loop.

Try to read properly and make sure u understand what you are doing and be careful not to have typo. These commands removes the OTA files so if u have typo, it might remove other files instead.

You can type those commands in TWRP under the option advance --> terminal commands

When I go to terminal commands, thr is like browse through starting folder menu like how it is when you are restoring or installing rom. Sorry super noob here :/

Follow this thread

As for how to use terminal command in TWRP, I think better u look for some YouTube video guides. Will be easier for you to understand

IT worked bro! thanks smile.gif Also now how to install the new OTA update? Any idea?
*
As long as you still have custom recovery, u can't . u can either flash a kdz to restore the stock recovery or just go stock based custom ROM like cloudy Roms which have even more feature than this OTA update

Actually the SOT can differ greatly depending on many factors . most of the time 5-6 hours usage with 10% or less battery left.

1 major thing that can cause lots of drain that people may not aware is the cell signal. If it fluctuates a lot, battery life gonna be bad even data is not on.

Btw, I'm on Cloudystock 2.1 Korean stock based.

Bro just refer to V2 of this thread (link below), 2nd post will tell you the trusted stores selling the G2. It's not available in every store because it was never officially launched here.

All our variants is the D802 international one.

slow updates on bugs, audio, gps, knock on (kernel specific).. you get the drill
*
Nope, I don't get the drill. If you compare to other brands apart from nexus family, G2 update were consider quick. Considering knock code was launch with newer models, we already consider lucky LG didn't leave that out for G2.

Seems ok to me they are one of the early ones with kitkat update and before that another firmware update.
*
Exactly. Official fw doesn't come as often as custom Roms haha

You guys that have gps problem after KitKat update, how did u guys update to KitKat? Via OTA or LG update tool?

I'm suspecting maybe only those who did OTA might suffer this issue

Ya I updated via OTA wifi updates, make different with LG tools  hmm.gif ?
*
OTA = 500++ MB
KDZ = 1.7GB

maybe some files related to baseband were not updated. As I remember even for custom ROM, we need to update the baseband before flashing KitKat Roms.

is there any modem we need to flash for good network connections for our region here with cloudy stock ?

are you using any custom recovery as well bro ???
*
Ya, you need custom recovery to flash custom ROM. I'm using latest TWRP with cloudy stock. Visit his thread, the requirement and installation step quite clearly stated.

Can the firmware be updated for future LG upgrades after root?
*
Possible, provided you have stock recovery. Also you might lose root after update.
