If u still scared,just go to puspakom inspection and keep the passed cert inside ur glovebox.

Current mileage 70k, mostly gonna use for city driving…

Hi i just bought a used yr 2008 gen 2 cps and had encountered the engine can't start issue on and off had done some diagnostic at work shop and according the diagnostic result was unable to detect the transponder . After changing the transponder the problem came back again and had changed the key ring which is the immobilizer receiver . The problem still unable to solve . Today it happen again and i tried to remove the ecu fuse for a few minutes  and plug it back then start the  car .The engine able to turn on . My forman told me there is high chance i need to change the ECU. Did anyone of the gen 2 cps owner here had come across this issue?

is the current campro VVT (iriz/new persona) better than cps?
cps was much a long-awaited engine (early gen2, persona, waja) but it has very short mass-production life.

Vvt n cps different system.

Vvt change the valve timing.
Cps change valve duration.

Cps got 'highcam' lobe on camshaft. But sadly on inlet only..
Proton should design on both cam for performance like vtec.
