i think better change, coz other area might be 'hardened' and crack already... just waiting time.

oh... i thought the 'black' area is hole... maybe water makes look like hole..
try survey at radiator shop... can service the radiator also while replacing the cover...

mine also leaking. ask SC to check on 2nd service.
they just remove the pipe, cleaned, put some gasket silicon, put the hose.
currently already clock 17000km. still good.

however, i suspect ur hose might crack at the end. might cut end portion abit and reinsert.
or, can replace with samco hose..

can DIY.. easy only.. just need to reuse or pour fresh oil after DIY.

yeah.. thats the problem.. no time to DIY.. i also got some DIY things to do.. but doesnt have enough time..

i think samco hose that size not very expensive.. can get the 1feet or 1m hose and cut to desired hose.. Rm30 per meter i think?

im abit confuse here.. which one is the right one?

in kgm (Nm) or Ft/lbs?

i did some conversion and cant brain it..

eg: 5.0kgm (50Nm; 3.355 ft.lbs) - on workshop manual

google converts:


some web conversion:
Nm to ft pounds


ft pounds to Nm



and according to manual, crank pulley tightening torque only 3kgm (30Nm; 2.013 ft.lbs) ??



googling on9, crank bolt tightening torque from 60 to 160 pounds.


am i missing something..

yeah.. some bolts or nuts can be tightened without torque wrench.. but some bolts especially engine bolts n nuts really needs torque wrench to tightened.
my previous mech (bwh pokok shop only) did use torque wrench.

actually im looking to buy my own torque wrench.. but need to see suitable torque wrench range.

u must check 1st either bulb problem or HID ballast problem.
if not mistaken HID bulb D2S socket.

Vvt n cps different system.

Vvt change the valve timing.
Cps change valve duration.

Cps got 'highcam' lobe on camshaft. But sadly on inlet only..
Proton should design on both cam for performance like vtec.
