Graphics downgrade is to be expected. Unwise to expect fluffy and fancy stuff in E3 to appear in actual game. Is it false advertising? Definitely. Should we be bothered by it? Maybe.
Either way, I'm hyped for the game play and mechanics, more than the graphics. So I'm waiting for the beta to try it for myself.
Rainbow Six Siege had downgrades too, but it was very fun for me, despite the lack of single player.

any 1 know how to buy Gold Edition for PC i mean DVD version
For physical disc only xbone/ps4 offered gold edition. For PC i guess the only way to get somewhat a gold edition is the Sleeper Agent Collector Edition that include seasonpass .
Also not sure how Brooklyn and other areas will be added in the future. If Ubisoft is smart and follow Rainbow Six Siege's business model, then they'd be wise to open up new areas to all players instead of putting new areas behind paywall to split the player base.
After see the gameplay footage from Angry Joe, 1 word, boring and I can even see that from Joe's face, I guess have to see more review later on to change my mind
Pre-ordered on Steam, yes can refund. Also not sure how Brooklyn and other areas will be added in the future. so even if we play 3 days of beta, we still opt for refund?

For Steam yeah, cuz of steam's own refund policy. If you get Uplay key I don't know. But Steam own refund won't kick in until official launch of game./
