Protein is the base of muscles building . It is practically what forms u and all of living organisms . If u don't consume enough protein ur body wont recover properly hence poor muscle development and recovery.

one egg and light meat (as in lean meat?)
well most likely u won't get any muscle during my lose weight period, i still eat fish, beans, peas etc in very low portion, the result, i lose muscle. |
