Pick a restaurant, and when you call to make a reservation just ask if they have the Halal certificate.

Well I guess they can't be certified halal as they serve alcoholic beverages. But the food usually are.

Source ingredients e.g. beef got halal certificate from supplier. But which fine dining western restaurant doesn't serve wine?

You gotta be kidding. That place is a disservice to old memories.

Pork-free and halal certified beef and chicken can easily find. Whether the shop has a halal certificate or not go find yourself lol.

I was referring to the one at Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. Never going back again. And obviously not gonna try the new outlets.

The majority of middle-higher income Muslim diners who spend at above-averaged priced places don't care.

Can't say the same for the majority of Muslims in Malaysia. They're more staunch.

Why would you go back. Except if it brings back memories of your older days of career pursuit and pak toh.

Otherwise, the food quality, has turned into....well..I have no further comments.

It's been bought over by someone who's seeking a quick ROI.

I think it could be Halal now. But one thing for sure, it's turned pork free.

And they don't serve butter. I think it's some palm oil derived spread.

But yeah, the place is still nostalgic.

Not sure if they use real butter for that.

But if they can't even get the regular bread + butter spread right, I'm not going back. Hmph!!!!

Okay back to topic. To the TS, the majority here have no idea where to get you a fine-dine Western restaurant that has a Halal certificate. Wait for someone else's reply.
