new celcom user here..

migrated over from maxis due to new house area has poor coverage especially inside the house..

took up the 500 package(rm80/mth), with 1 supp line(rm5/mth)..
so far still enjoyin the network coverage.. and free vid calls to my supp line ^^

i'm currently using 1+3 plan from celcom..
however there is one thing which make me kindof regret taking celcom..

i'm taking the plan 50,
every month need to have commitment of rm50, i came from maxis postpaid, so i didnt know the rm50 commitment DOES NOT include sms, mms, data charges...

this made me very sad, coz wif maxis, if i dont call so much, i'm able to sms more,
but for celcom, i need to call up to rm50 every month, and all my smses are separately charged, bringing my bill up to close to rm100/month (i'm a heavy sms user)

the only thing i like is that i can call my supp line for free, but maxis also can (1200min, 2000sms) ><

took the celcom line due to my new house area has limited coverage, especially inside the house. celcom performed better.

haha, very true..

dissapointed wif celcom 1+3, if not for its coverage, would have run back to maxis postpaid..

BTW, for Minute plan, it is not include sms right? I mean, other than the free sms, I need to pay the 8 sen/sms rate. So, after I used all the free sms, my bill will like this =RM50 (depend on plan) + sms charge, right?
*
yes... dats what makes me hate celcom so much..
they charge extra for sms..

so the rm50 is only for calls, sms charges separate.. grr, if i had known it earlier i wouldnt have taken celcom.

oh ic..
however the sms rate is still 0.10..
mine currently is at 0.08 , the reason i'm not changing to cep plan is due to the sms is 0.02 more expensive ><

Mr Cola,

I was thinking.. instead of changing my plan from minutes50 to cep50, should i choose the cep20??

I have tried check the celcom website, but not much details except the front page.. do u have any further details on cep20? for example, does cep20 have the discount thing?

thanks bro.

yup, meaning cannot cancel subscription with celcom..

anyway i just called to 1111 just now, confirmed if i change to cep50 anytime can cancel my line.. but it seems celcom system got problem, cannot change from minutes50 to cep50, the customer care lady asked me to go to celcom branch to change my package..

don't have the time to go celcom branch.. ><

btw, confirmed for cep20, don't have discount, only cep50 got.

supp line has always been 0.30 sens/min ..
that's why the supp line which i passed to use, use only to call me, if call others then its expensive.

Just wanted to share my irritation with celcom careline today,
ok, here's the story

Called in on 20th august to change from minutes 250 plan to cep50, 1st time said system down, after 2 days of system down then can. Then the dude told me to wait until cut off date, which is 6th Sept in order to change to avoid prorated charges.

So i called on 6th sept to change, careline said ok, done.

When i called to careline again today to ask whether my plan already changed to cep, she told me not yet..
so i asked why? she said within 24 hours activation..

so i said, i already called in 2 days ago to change, then she changed her story, said for call in to careline to change plans, need to wait 3-7 days.. wat the hell? then continued saying, we have some problems with our system, but if you head to branch to change plan its immediate, if tru careline, its 3-7 days.

grr, should have told me that when i changed my plan to cep.
