my initial boot up E6600 pair with Kingston HyperX DDR900mhz

Vcore= Normal
VDIMM= +0.3v
MCH Voltage= +0.2v
FSB Voltage= +0.2v
PCI-E Voltage= Normal

Hi guys, I got some OC problem wif my setup.

E6300 | MSI P965 NEO | 1gb DDR2 667 Cosair value ram | Coolermaster 430w

My mobo have a limit FSB of 333mhz, but I can't seems to get beyond 321mhz.

Everytime I set higher it will reboot once reach the windows screen. 

Do I need to up voltage for any parts?
Is my PSU enuff to support the OC?
Izzit my ram not good enuf?
Is the stock CPU cooler good enuf?

I see everyone reaching 400 - 450 FSB, I can't even reach 333....

A little frustrating not being able to raise Vcore. This is the best I can do using IDE drive...

When your FSB is running at 400MHz, that means your memory should be at 2.0 (1:1) ratio. You try set 2.50 (4:5) though if your memory is able to run at DDR1000

I think, luck doesn't want to be on my side.

I just got back my board yesterday, thank god. But I think, I'm having the same problem with the dude at XS. I can't even up a MHz, I've tried everything, up this and that, disabled most of the features. Still no luck of overclocking. The last thing I havent tried is changing the graphic card. I need a PCI VGA. Damn!

Not a single MHz can be upped..

Anyway, I don't really it's RAM, more to my GFX card. Sigh.

Well, I'll do some thorough check later tonight. Hopefully everything will be fine.

Oh by the way, I got a new board from 1-to-1 exchange. Previous board also facing the same problems, that's why I'm suspecting it's GFX.

Yes, I'm on F3 BIOS.

dont try f4e.. some killed their bios when flashing their board.

i suggest u to try using other vga card, even pci display card.. and see whether the problem is solve or not..

btw here is my 1st oc with my conroe e6600..

proc at 350x9 @ 3.15ghz

ram at auto (downclock @ ddr700), timing 4-5-4-15 (loose a bit bcoz dont want the ram to hold my cpu oc)

Can I ask a stupid question?

If the graphics card itself is overclocked, will it affect the overclocking ability of the CPU/MB ?

sigh, still no chance to use irenic e6300 + ds4. no vga and ram. no time to go lowyat to buy. sob sob. i hope i can reach half of irenic oc and bench. that satisfy me enuff. haha..

Intel one....I see those taiwan website ....their temperature all below 50 degree one leh...

When I touch the heatsink....it just a bit warn only...not hot at all...means I din fit it properly?

Updated with the F4 BIOS, and finally I can OC! Phew!

Running two instances folding client @ 2.4Ghz! RAM at loose timing, and vcore vdimm at stock.

just refit my HSF again, the temp drop to below 50 when idle....
