I have a 17" LG Flatron L1750SQ flatscreen monitor alternitavely, and i was wonderin should i get the amazing sony tv (more like a big superflat screen monitor) or stick with using the LG monitor, .. ill give the exact model of the sony tv as soon as i get it..

You shouldn't post the same thing twice. To answer your question, if your LG Monitor is a PC monitor, I think it'll be great as you can play Xbox 360 with HD resolution on it with Xbox 360 VGA Cable. Unless, your friend's sony TV is capable of HDTV resolution (which I think is unlikely as it's rare to find 20" or 25" HDTV here) stick with your PC Monitor. For me, I'd rather buy Dell 20" Widescreen monitor for RM 1699 (not capable of watching TV though). Same size, and great display quality. But in the end, your money, your choice.
