Technical Sony TV or LG Flatron monitor 17"?

 You shouldn't post the same thing twice. To answer your question, if your LG Monitor is a PC monitor, I think it'll be great as you can play Xbox 360 with HD resolution on it with Xbox 360 VGA Cable. Unless, your friend's sony TV is capable of HDTV resolution (which I think is unlikely as it's rare to find 20" or 25" HDTV here) stick with your PC Monitor.
