boss pls help urgent here, my q16 some how unable to boot properly

after boot appear on the box only show -- -- (usually time will appear)

i even try on lan cable also could not connected within network
my tv does not receiving any hdmi signal from the player too

I'm interested to get a unit, but need to understand some aspects of the unit before I commit. Originally plan to use it as a 24/7 torrent client but don't quite understand how the external sata interface works.

Do I connect the hdd as shown below? Without any external enclosure?
Not sure if I can find any enclosure that fits the special sata cable himedia uses.

By the way, which wireless keyboard and mouse will you recommend to use with Q16? Thanks.

Hey bro,

Strongly not recommend to install the naked harddisk as your photo. You can get USB portable HDD easily in the market today and the price is no much different from the naked Sata HDD. The external portable HDD will solve your problem.

There are too many wireless keyboard and mouse in the market, we could not test all the brand. But so far I use any generic wireless mouse and never encounter any problem.

hi, may i know whether can i watch hk channels with this?

Hi, I'm new to this whole tv box device & not very tech savvy! Pls bear w my qstns!
1) Can I know if I can stream/watch YouTube on this Q16 model?
2) And is this essentially just "plug n play" without too much other own installation of apps etc?
3) I read somewhere Airplay is supported so I can watch stuff on my iPad/iPhone thru this tv box?
4) being "basic" user, would I benefit much getting this new Q16 model than the Q5ii?
4) Is this a China version? and what abt support/warranty?
5) is the promo price still valid now? (Price incl postage) and in stock?
