Already has 10% damage but still just 3.5k so I suspect the base is too low. Even if reroll LPSS to IAS, may gain another 300++ to 3.8k but wasted a stat. That stat could be 1100++ bit or 20k LoH. So, I reckon to farm for a better FD.

the stat are actually pretty decent. but in term of damage, i've seen FD with range from 3.2k to 3.4k based damage so...

for t6 and below, you dont need LoH. with proper setup, most elite die in 5 seconds.

but before you reach that stage, depending on play style, you may need LoH. if you tank a lot (instead of doing burst damage and kite), LoH help. if u use LoH, you may want to switch to DW for faster and more constant LoH. Fist of Thunder is pretty good now (compare to 2.0).

alternatively, i'd say it's pretty safe to opt out LoH in weapon. you can use MoH or BoH to replenish life as most monk do in Sunwuko setup.

Also, dont use Mythic Rhythm if you dont have any Spirit spender like Bell.

nice i haven't test it yet.. good to know it's actually pretty good. i m now levelling my other gem before starting Project 38... will try upgrade Pain Enhancer as well.

DW = dual wield. As for passive, you really should use Siege the Initiative. It gives you 30% increase in attack speed.

So quiet? Anyway, Project 38 in operation! Now upgrading low level key. Taking forever...

Had this really good density grift 33, managed to upgrade to grift 37 by completing it in less than 8 mins (no pylon) At grift 33, I can forgo some defense so I was using MoC.

Look for Eye of Peshkov, using Infused with Light should increase your damage quite a bit. But that also mean you gonna need a pretty good Sunwuko amulet...

however, i think a good map can make up for that. just keep trying.

Grift 38: Mission accomplished. Got it on the 9th attempt! (That mean I fail 8 times before this.. )

Note to self:

1. Level 1 is EMPTY! Waste no time on sucky map. Dash to level 2 as soon as you can.
2. Whenever possible, avoid taking down 1 Elite at a time. You must stack them! Found 1 Elite, try get another. Kill both at once!
3. When Epiphany is down, avoid attacking Elite! Go hit some white mob to gain 30% IAS (Siege the Initiative) or go find other Elite

Most importantly... keep trying until you get a GOOD DENSITY MAP!

Ancient items seem interesting. I hope they don't limit it specific item coz my Sunwuko Paw is my best gear... though i never gonna replace it anymore...

4p bonus mean, your CS, Palm, TR and Bell will be 5 times more powerful! It looks good but in reality those skill required animation and most likely you can only cast them 2 times in a second. Personally, I think a well genwuko build can deal more damage than that since there is no animation in casting SW and Mantra which can protect you at the same time.

This post give you idea on how to calculate those. In my case, 20% elemental damage is slightly better than 10% cc. Moreover, in genwuko build (and mirinae) all my damage are from holy.

The good... I can finally use all my paragon point in Utility tab... still the new set cannot be weaker than old! i need to farm again...

think D3 reached low season again... fewer people online these days... i need to catch up with my paragon level... spending too much time upgrading keys lately... slow already...

Why not discuss about the upcoming changes to Sunwuko and "Ramen" set?

New Sunwuko

My observation, the bad:
1. Genwuko is dead. Godamit.
2. No longer give 20% damage when using Daibo. Godamit! Lost DPS!
3. No longer tied to Holy damage. Re-farm / re-craft.
4. Less tanky since we no longer "should" spam mantra

The good:
1. All elements are possible
2. Can sync with Inna set (and Blackthorn if you so incline) which gives 4 mantra
3. DW is now viable with Sunwuko!

Most promising (theoretical) build atm:
1. Cinder-wuko - Fire bell monk
- Cindercoat - reduced fire skill resource by up to 30%! Add fire skill damage by 20%!
- Incense Torch of the Grand Temple - Increase WOL damage by 30%! Reduced spirit cost up to 50%!
- Together with Reduced resource in Paragon level, it is possible to build a non-spirit generator bell spamming Sunwuko!
- In fact, based on the new bonus is the Sunwuko, there is really does not make sense to use any generator.
- So, spirit region gears will be important too.
- Another item to keep for this build is T'Zo Krins Gaze - which can grant another 25% bell damage.
- Gameplay is mostly just spam bell! To hell with weak spirit generator

So, make sure you keep those cindercoat / Incense, etc just in case...

2. EP may make a come back
- Madstone...
- Especially with Gungdo gear which trigger EP in EP explosion. Too bad this will be season only.

New Ramen set
2-piece Set: The damage of your Spirit Generators is increased by 100%.
4-piece Set: The third hit from your Spirit Generators grants a charge of Dashing Strike and the amount of charges Dashing Strike can store is increased by 5.
6-piece Set: After using Dashing Strike, your Dashing Strike shocks all nearby enemies for 3000% weapon damage as Lightning.

Although I like to punch thing and DW, I really don't think this set can match Sunwuko. Generator, even with 100% buff and another 100% from Depth Digger, are still weak. Based on my testing with the 100% Depth digger previously. More importantly, I hate Ping pong play style, even more than Sunwuko mantra spamming.

Best build atm is still genwuko (sunwuko + generator). This required The Flying Dragon.

You can build a DW Sunwuko setup too. It's not as good as using Daibo since you cannot benefit from the 20% damage in 2p Sunwuko, but the 3500% is still the best damage we have. Especially after the recent 2H patch, it is definitely better than DW. Slow attack speed is not really my thing too. With the proper skill (Siege the Initiative - 30%, Alacrity - 15%, Dashing Strike - Radiance 15%) you wont feel that slow. Things become very fun when FD proc as well.

If you still wanna go DW, you still can with Sunwuko, but limited to Holy element to further increase the damage of the proc.

If you must go with lightning build, you should go for Odyn Son + Thunderfury / WKL / SoH. Both weapon benefit from additional lightning damage. You should use Lightning rune Bell. It offers solid damage. Raiment of Thousand Storm should be the set you should aim for. It offers additional lightning damage and solid DS 3000% as lightning.

IMO, a +16% lightning damage in your WKL is pretty weak and not good enough for the proc in Shard of Hate. So, in this case, I would recommend Thunderfury + SoH. But if you can find Odyn Son (quite common), I think it's even better than SoH.

WKL additional lightning damage can roll to 25%.

Odyn Son proc send a chain lightning that scale with your lightning damage, IAS, CDMG and CC. So, it's pretty strong, especially if you have high DPS.

Another thing that make it better than SOH is that if there is only 1 target, all 3 hits from chain lightning goes to that guy.
