Hound is really a nice figure for the AOE series! I'm more and more inclined to get it. Second would be Galvatron. Optimus and Grimlock are meh ....

i haven't watched the movie, but, for me, i can accept it anyway...

now go watch all the TF series prior to tftm or just watch the original 80's TF movie(the cartoon one) as a punishment. see if you can agree with yourself afterwards. 

anyway, ever since dotm, mBay has shown me that a movie can actually have too much action. that and plus the inappropriate toilet humour = Bay is bad director for transformers. the 80's cartoon transformers movie was way better than any bayformers movie. and when a cartoon has better story development than a real world movie, something has to be wrong. worst part is, you can see these a lot lately(in new movies).

By the way watch the movie. Although I must say it is not really that good I still enjoy watching it non the less. As BoonieTan said it it's a different take on the Transformers franchise as we know it not to mention we should have already accustomed to how Bay is gonna making TF movie so there's not much expectation anyway except to sit back and enjoy the show. The movie may be quite disastrous but there are a few things I like about it :

1. A different depiction on the characterization on the Autobots as they are not the goody-two-shoes that we are use to. Most of them have character flaws (some can't even tolerate each other) which I think make them seem more believable as a "character" rather than a random bot which appears in 1 or 2 scenes.

4. The voice cast are really well done. Really brings out the characteristics of each of the main Transformers characters.

3. Lockdown... One of the most bada** TF I've ever seen that even Prime (after upgrade) is having a hard time going against him. Nuff said .

Things I don't like :

1. Extreme use of product advertising.

2. Tessa, Shane, Lucas, Darcy...etc ... Lots of characters which serves little to no purpose in the plot line. Same goes for all the Hong Kong/China cameo actors.

3. Hearing Peter Cullen/Optimus Prime saying "kill" and "die" really makes me ...

4. "Transformium"... lol wut ?? I thought Transformers are created by the All Spark ?

It's not all good... but it's not all bad either... but still it's Transformers so I give face.

Anybody know what's up with 1Utama Vhobby? One thing it seems they have not updated their page in a month already.

Also, previously when Phlogeus arrived, I did get a SMS but When conabus arrived, no SMS till now.. I only knew they had it because I went to 1Toy and saw that it arrived (since they share the same boss)..

i don't blame the toy engineers, but seeing Crosshairs in the movie makes me dislike the toy even more.. it was supposed to flow behind him like a coat, but i really don't see how they can translate it into the figure, so i blame Michael Bay

I own one (TakTom version). In all honesty, the quality is much better than the Lamborghini moulds (better alt mode door fitment). Transformation is a bit tricky when it comes to the legs.

My minor complaint is on the tab / peg  where the robot head rests. Its a tiny piece of plastic that I fear if transformed a lot might break.

Paint wise, it is a better than MP12 Sideswipe (at least on the one I own).
