really liking this guy so far, is better than slug alot

Managed to snag the 2 first wave dinos.. i have to say, i really am damned impressed by them.. a lot of interesting engineering going on.. looking forward to the next 2
That aside.. i feel grimlock doesnt fit in with the aesthetics of the other dinos

This leads me to believe more that besides Strafe, we are unlikely to see most of the dinobots..or their bot modes.. THe bot modes just don't seem to "cham" each other much less the rest of the show..


Btw guys, is TA Lockdown (not Blaze) mold worth getting ?

actually the dinobots match the aesthetics of each other, just not grimlock.. somehow grimlock doesn't fit the whole 'knight' theme the dinobots have going on with them.. grimlock is just... weird

That's what I mean. For me Grimlock doesn't match any of the bots in terms of aesthetics (maybe it's the color) compared to the other bots in the movie.. and the botmodes of the other dinobots really tak ngam with Grimmy..

Below is my honest opinion.

Don't waste time on leader Grimlock... unless you want to buy an eggplant(terung) and use it to cook rataouille. Watch Peaugh's review. It's fugly from all angles (in Dino mode). Bot mode is not bad.

Display wise Voyager Grimmy looks great with the other dinobots.. being 2-3 heads taller.

Platinum is meh.. the chrome is in all the wrong places. Save your money for the Takara Evasion and buy regular Voyager grimmy hehe

TA Lockdown is one of the best figures in the TA series. Car mode is mean looking and robot mode is awesome. He maybe a deluxe, but he stands taller than normal voyager classes. Really nice figure. Though the hand can't open all the way due to the design but abit of mod on it will fix that issue.

ROTF Lockdown is much better. You can stretch him leg and he will become taller than TA Lockdown and on par with Voyager class.

car mode wise maybe but robot mode, legs are too scrawny looking and transformation is not as fun as TFA Lockdown. TFA all the way for me.
