Lockdown is different because he has no allegiance so felt like he's a mash of both elements

Honestly I'd say do some research. There are a few problems that plague the oriingal MP Starscream too.. Best to go to tfw2005 and read someo fthe review sfor MP-11. They do have some comparisons. When I first started and before I knew aobut the MP-11 reissue, I was actually contemplating both and was deciding between the two. I went for MP-11 simply because

1) I didn't like the hip kibble
2) I enjoy transforming my transformers every now and then. and i read that it was pretty dangerous to do with the original mold ? (breakage? don't remember been a while now)
3) THe original was suppsoed to be difficult to pose etc..

I think I have different intention with mine. I think the hip kibble in MP3 is ugly too but I intend to store mine in plane mode which I think MP3 is suitable. The robot mode is a bit too tall for me to store it properly, unfortunately. It will probably transformed into robot mode and left on the table for a few days then transform back to the plane mode for storage.

I also really like the weathering effects on the plane, feels more realistic.

How are the joints in your MP-11? Are they tight? Or they will get looser and looser like the newer toys after transforming a few times?

Also, MP3 has the display stand, i think that one might sway me into getting one.

Are there any part of the transformation that feels fragile?

As for my MP-11 Coronation, my biggest gripe is the 'tail wings', always seem to pop of from its hinges at the slightest pressure applied. During transformation, I just pop both of so I dont damage them.

In bot mode, there is a bit of difficulty to make mine stand, as the 'sliding body' transformation where the cockpit folds in tends to get unhinged easily (those who have should understand) and freely move up/down. Either that or I transformed it wrong. Haha

As for stand, I bought the KO MP-3 stand and it fits well with MP-11 for both Bot and Alt mode.

Jet mode wise, MP-11 from the top looks solid, with a few neat gimmick (the wind deflectors, the landing gear etc). But from the bottom, the Bot mode is quite apparent to those who thoroughly examine it.

I pose my MP-11 together with HFTD Leader Class Starscream at times. Nice perspective of classic and modern

I am intending to leave it in the jet mode. Can be used as a jet model with Starscream livery too. I like the inked panels as the jet mode feels a lot more realistic and polished. Thats why now I am considering to get it from ebay since the price isnt too bad.

I heard the MP11 does not have the stand.

Damn it! When did I miss this? Its a hoax? There goes the probability of my first ever masterpiece figure. Considering MP Prowl atm since I like him and his alt mode isn't that bad. Wondering if RM180 offer still available last time I saw some links here.

ps; last time when I'm down at KL got visit Amcorp Mall and almost want to buy MP Red Alert at RM160. But upon seeing his alt mode up close decided to cancel the idea. Too much gap for a MP. Not sure if its a KO or BIB figure.

Actually among the Lambor molds I only own TigerTracks and G2 Sideswipe.

Tiger tracks came out before the latter , and to me that release was a mess. Mine had a bad paint job... the front tires don't roll due to some manufacturing defect.. and yes, gaps everywhere.

G2 Sideswip on the other hand was nice and solid. This was why I was hoping for a reissue . So they could have a chance to be at the quality MP-12G was.

I like Prowl too but smokescreen is really not bad, the colors are nice and vibrant.

To me it's more of the designs and transformations. I'm not particularly attached to the G1 iterations (perhaps I'm still considered young) but I am impressed by some of the movie representations. For instance ROTF Optimus or the Human Alliance series. To see the movie line go from something so well done, to some of the AOE line, is kinda sad. But that is also due to the way the designs were done onscreen. Some of them are just too hard to replicate in physical toys because of the 'cheating' involved. For instance, Optimus doesn't have any visible door panels or windows despite transforming into a truck. Heck I don;t even know where all his wheels went.

But there are some saving graces in the AOE lines. I think Strafe, Scorn, Evasion Optimus and Hound are very nicely engineered. Others...not so much

I dunno. Aside liking very the expressive face of MP Ultra Magnus he seem kinda... umm... wide . Not that the transformation engineering isn't intuitive but somehow the back kibble looks kind of... meh  especially with the red back panel.
