i coulve waited a month more to get an intel iMac but i didnt know so i took the PPC.Great stuff anyways.

It's a Apple Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) and this is one of the biggest events for Apple in the whole year. Everybody is waiting for this year's WWDC because of; Mac Pro, Mac OS X Leopard, iWork, iPod, and others. Hope this can help you to understand more, uSeLeSs

My reckoning is it will be the launch of the final segment of the Mac platform to make the jump to Intel-based chips. The desktop "Pro" mac.

thats what im hyped up about (even though i know i wont be able to get...and is useless for me to get it since im no graphics designer or mega gamer)

all i know is windows is gonna run blazingly fast on this,faster than the intel ones we have now

The blu-ray drive is still damn exensive, I don't know how much will the new Mac cost if Apple put it inside BTW, Apple is still talking about HD, right?

I think Apple should not put in the blu-ray drive just need the 10.5 Leopard is ready for blu-ray and then there's space for user to upgrade it by themself when the price of the blu-ray drive become cheaper

BTW, I hope they will also upgrade the MB to Merom (Core 2 Duo Mobile) CPU same as MBP because Intel's targeting 50% of notebook user will use Merom CPU in 2007. How can other Windows user is using merom for their RM4k machine but Apple still use Yonah?

I dont think that there will be any new products (hardware) to be released except for new iPod since the sales of iPod has been kinda slow for Apple standard. 50% of Mac Pro will be out, i dont know this is my guess.

that's a very far future..... i don't think your mini will survive that long.... unless you have good reasons as to why your apps need to address memory beyond 4GB....

Guys, the MacBook is RM 1K cheaper if with student discounts in the US well, this part of the world...tough we pay more, think it's good in a way as we are supporting our local MAC stores, without them, we can't get any service and so on.

As far as i know, currently only release desktop version, codenamed is conroe. As for lappie core2duo, duno when release.
