Ashley Cole will not be in the England squad..too bad for him..

for me defend is always about experience..England will struggle if anything happen to Baines.

above all..for me hate or love Cole, he is a world class t LB for his generation.

we are with you Cole. Cheers !!

I think maybe because cole plays too few matches this season, whereas Baines was one of the key players for Everton and he did well, so many he gets the nod ahead of A.Cole. hmm.gif

Baines always a starter..no doubt.

but Shaw over Cole.

no disrespect for Shaw..but can he contain world class winger if Baines injured? I dont think so..not yet maybe..

But I think it's always good to have a younger backup, you need to nurture new talents and let them have some exposure on international stage, this is very important. Since baines is a certain starter, Roy's option on Shaw over Cole, to me, anytime. It's not like England have a very big shot on the world cup throphy anyway. lol...

for me if you want to nurture young talent then..go with Shaw and Baines as backup. tongue.gif or else it will be just like a holiday at Brazil..

the English FA will aim and go for it! so Roy will let Baines to be the main man, but Shaw will get his chance/time too. slightly just more than a holiday.

walcott was a surprise inclusion in Sven's team when he was only 16 or 17, he had yet to made any significant impact, or at least minimal impact at club level yet, at Arsenal, what has he done at that point in time?

So you think Shaw has no significant contribution to his team at club level this season?? whistling.gif

look forward for the belgium..
i think they can go all the way..

hope for vermaelen to recover from his injuries on time..

courtouis vs mignolet

alderweireld - kompany - van der buyten/vermaelen - vertonghen
witsel-felaini
mertens-de bruyne-hazard
lukaku
pretty good right??
with dembele, chadli & mirallas to fight for places in the 1st team..
& youngster like bakkali, januzaj & thorgan to fight for their chances..
i feel this team can shock the big team in the competition..
just such a shame that benteke not available...

he play a decent amount of time during his time at southamton..
he just cant get game time at a bigger club arsenal..

Post Season + and -

+

we changed our style to play counter attacking.
we improve our defensive quality.
we bought a few direct type of players.
we solve the Pivot problem.
we now play the winger at wing position and no longer play no.10.
we play wider
we win or draw against all top sides.
debut for kalas, baker and swift.
almost all player improving under new manager.

-

we dont have a reliable strikers.
we cant unlock the defensive side.
we struggle against lower side.
we lost the goals from midfielder.

so in another words, he failed to make impact on club level in the same season, prior to the world cup, right?

But meanwhile Shaw has significantly contributed to his club, just ahead of the wc right?
