Genetically... a.k.a.:Mongrels.... Domestication of Dogs dates back to probably 33k thousand years, well after humans migrated out of Africa and as humans are transitioning from hunter-gatherer to agriculture based... Well before biblical age....The multiple breed of dogs today are rather recent 200 years or so phenomenon.

The average Mongrel with non-specific selection would be close to the dogs 2k years ago... (As dogs go back 33k years of more). We could sequence genomes of these ancient Dogs to be certain...

Though I was addressing the Cannan dog breed which are morphological similar to Pariah (Mongrels) dogs which could genomically proven to be so...

To be precise I'd use 50 to 55 million years ago for the first primate, 25 to 30 Million for the first Ape, 2.3 to 2.4 Million for the first Homo genus, 200k for the first H. sapien species... A billion will be off by a factor of around 18x...

^Mankind began in Africa, no particular human race is Superior (though particular culture/marriage may limit genetic variance of a group), by basic human rights no one can claim dominion over other individuals be it Kings, Sultans, Emperors, Tsars or Pharoahs.
