Anyone with a UTAR degree working in SG? Is it recognized? I have a accounting degree from UTAR ( no other professional qualification ). Not fresh grad though.

QUOTE(kl87 @ May 30 2014, 10:58 PM) In terms of applying for working permit with MOM i believe they r recognized by sg government. but this is different frm your accounting professional board etc, which you need to check by yourself. if engineering i can help u check, but business stream i m totally clueless. Wish you luck coming to sg Btw which yr u graduated? QUOTE(alaskanbunny @ May 30 2014, 11:06 PM) not to sign off accounts or to become auditor really. just working as normal accounts person. |

QUOTE(seantang @ Jun 1 2014, 03:14 PM) $2-4k if he's still an exec after 7-10 years (there are many like these by the way), to $7-15k if he's already a manager to director (these guys are far fewer). Wow, 2-4k is kinda low. But I guess the same thing does happen in Malaysia as well. But 7-15k is kinda attractive for me. Back in 2010 I did tried to apply to Singapore. Send in many application but none came back. Thus I'm worried is it because I only have an accounting degree from UTAR thus not favorable by SG employers. Subsequently got another job in MY till now. Now I'm looking at SG again. |

QUOTE(seantang @ Jun 3 2014, 02:32 PM) The link you have is a not working. wow fresh accounting grad in SG can get 4k? that's amazing! But from the same site, it says that the median fresh graduate salary for accounting is A$50K. Whereas the median for all fields of study is $52K. That's about 4K a month, which isn't much better compared to SG. www.graduatecareers.com.au/Research/GradJobsDollars/BachelorU25/Accounting/index.htm |

QUOTE(robertchoo @ Jun 11 2014, 10:58 AM) Oh yeah? Jual mahal these singaporeans employers, huh? Have such a talented foreigner like you and how dare they don't hire you! They should be thankful that they even breath the same air as you! Damn them! Get a job in msia instead! Teach them a lesson and show them what they are missing out! Make them beg you to hire you thereafter! huh??? |
