E&E engineer..., I know a local NTU fresh grad managed to get $3k (but not sure if it is the exceptional case). Generally, I think if u can get between $2.5k to $3k consider quite good already for fresh graduate.

What is the firm size and how much they offer you? Is the firm well-known in the industry? Depends your goal. I would say after August it would be even harder to get SG offer... if you accept it, very likely you will get EP (2 years), and I dont suggest you to change firm/job during the EP period ... ...

2.4k to an engineer is rather low, but as fresh grad; bargaining power is lower unless your have special abilities or prior working experience.

EP wise I cant comment much cos I dont know how the MoM assess. I believe there are also forumers here with <3k salary get EP.

Erm, just make it short as per spore latest budget. The new hire policy is to give priority to Singaporean first, and additional criteria need to be fulfilled before to offer to foreigners.

need to consider your annual leave, insurance and medical benefit. if these benefits-in-kind can balance off, then overall package should be ok ba. For Malaysians that cant really get good offer for the 1st job in Singapore, just need to remember this - 2 yrs apply PR --> get better job with relevant exposure and experience = higher bargaining power.

get bully?? Dont think too much. You have your strength that they might not possess. Most of my singaporean frens at our age <30, whose parent were previously from Malaysia too. Everyone is equal.

Yes you may start apply after 6 months but confirm fail, IRRESPECTIVE you salary.

length of stay is one of the considerations. Friends/colleagues/juniors that I know who stayed in singapore (some 1 yr, some 1.5 yr) applied PR early this year and got rejected + asked them to re-apply only after 6 months. I believe their salary is definitely not an issue.

Exceptional case is where you have special talent/ or you are entrepreneur etc.. for those who started with EP and no prior stay in Spore, GENERALLY "confirm" fail if apply <1 year NOW. Well, I also wish that someone from LYN can share the exceptional cases.
