I am from IT Support fields and need some guidance. I got several years IT support experienced on IBM and SingTel now, but i graduated from Degree information system engineering. Feel like stay at IT Support not has good career path and getting bored on IT support fields as always feel less motivation and passion. Feel nothing to learn too in IT support fields as always encounter common issues. Isn't wise to give up my IT support experience and go to Information system engineering related jobs? Actually how you guys define the Information system engineering? What roles isn't?

QUOTE(ky_khor @ Jun 12 2014, 10:41 AM) How you know it is wise to move from IT support to InfoSys Engineering if you don't know what it is? Thanks for reply. Yes, i no really understand what job roles can do graduated from Information System Engineering. My skillset can transfer to programmer but i not really good in programming. IT sales or project management sound ok for me. Yeah, i really sick of IT hands on jobs. Not sure your skill set allows you to move on to other technical job such as programmer. But I know most people moves toIT sales or project management when they are sick of IT hands on. |
