Just a quick question regarding obtaining an E Pass:
I am Malaysian, recently graduated from a private university (accounting). If I have an offer for SGD3,200, will I be able to qualify for an E Pass?
I understand that the salary requirement for an E Pass has been raised to SGD3,300. Is this strictly enforced? I took a self assessment on Singapore's MoM website and it says I am likely to qualify for both an E Pass and an S Pass. Not sure why this appears to contradict its policies...
In any case, either pass will be sufficient right?
3200sgd for fresh grad in acc is
dont worry much about pass , as i have few friends doing audit in small and medium firms , i believe their salary is much lower than yours still able to work there.
perseverance... keep trying... it is not the person who's talented or with the most potential who wins... it is the person who preserves... if u send 1 resume n no reply, u send more again... send until u get a reply, send till u get an interview... send until u get a job
hard or tough who cares... there're so many of us here working in sg... if we can do it so can u... if u cant, it is u who failed yourself... no matter how hard, just try... what's there to lose... but all to win...
all the best
agreed.
i did send > 100 resume , my friend did so as well, send more than 100++ resume , just to grab interviews to have chance to nail the job!.
The term in my offer stated upon 90 days of employment, I'll be entitled to annual leave. Also stated if less than first year of service, will be prorated. Also stated that for first year of service it will be 14 days.
Now my question is... I have 3 months probation. Means after 90 days (3 months), I should be entitled to the leave not given to me on the first 3 months right?
The first 3 months working in the company is it counted towards "service"?
Hopefully yes... Otherwise I'll have to get half day unpaid leave during CNY Btw... Bloody hell the flight ticket from SG to my jungle hometown so expensive. ~450SGD return.
Dare not to take bus to KL then fly from KL. Scare later traffic jam 99
Some company still will give u annual leave. In prorated .means one day per month.
Nah... Not really cheaper. Return flight also over 1k d. Less than 3300 also possible to get EP but depends on industry and skill la I think. Some industry just won't pay that much but the foreigner is categorised under professional so have to take EP also. Ya that should be the case... But one of my senior told me I won't be given annual leave for the first 3 months even after probation. But that senior always say something without thinking one la End of this month then I know whether I get leave for the first 3 months. Just one week away. Lets see.
Btw... Singapore? Really?? Lol...
I thought you studied engineering related course (I remember wrong person? )? Going into audit firm?
