QUOTE(Mareg @ Apr 22 2014, 07:07 PM) I got a call and job offer from company to work in SG. May I ask is it I have to sign the offer letter only the company can proceed to next step for apply employment pass for me? Will the company knows when is the working date or have to wait for the pass to get through by MOM? how they conduct interview? phone interview or require go to their company conduct face-to-faceI am from Kedah, so I am trying to find out how long I should stay in SG until everything is completed as I can't be going in and out often, the travel can be killing with 12 hours bus journey |

QUOTE(deodorant @ Apr 23 2014, 05:31 PM) not so straightforward as 9:1 when its start implement this policy?http://www.mom.gov.sg/foreign-manpower/for...ker-quotas.aspx anyway just because there is a ratio, doesn't mean companies totally don't hire foreigners mah. they grow in size, add more overall staff then got more quota to hire foreigners liao lor. |

QUOTE(tailtwist @ Jul 7 2014, 04:22 PM) 3months notice? @@....your position is what ler? CEO?need 3 months notice? Actually I notice why some company rather put 3 months as a notice.Even senior management level normally 2 months notice only ar One main reason is the company very high turnover. I not sure this mean a bad thing to those wanna join like myself. Finger crossing |
