Do we need to file income tax in Msia if we are working in SG?
if yes, how much? file zero employment income?
*
It's Yes and No.

salaried income won't apply as you're not in MY. However if you have other incomes other than from your company's salary, you will be under taxed as usual.

E.g. properties rental, income from owning companies, etc.

i have one question, if now i applying PR, then let's said i got approved and obtained IC, then i immediately resigned, will leave any bad record on MOM side or any?
*
Once you get the PR nope no bad record on MOM.

If you're on S or EP, maybe, if your employer makes a complain on you to MOM. This may affect your future S Pass or EP approvals, etc.

Anyone can intro me to Big 4 SG? biggrin.gif

With the new ruling on hiring foreigners, it's difficult for people below the Manager grade to enter a Big4 in SG.

However if you're interested for Australia or Hong Kong I may be able to assist you.

Yeah, I have 1 condo & paying for 2 cars, one for my own and another for my parents. so RM 3500 is the right amount I spent.
Commission is vary i assumed so can't really count that. lunch break I have yet to ask. Thanks for pointing that out.
I did, I asked for at least $3900 but was denied. They did however promise me an increment of $250 after probation, but that is 6 months later.
I actually need to make decision by end of the month so I can tender my resignation properly. sigh~

You should take the offer. I take it the SPH office you'll be working at is at Bishan area.

SPH is a relatively good company. Not bad bonus as well. Location of the office is good for people who wants to save money. If you get a room some where north, past AMK area, you can get a nice common room for SGD 500. This brings down your expenses by quite a bit as you're staying far from the city area.

Minus SG expenses, you'll probably save a minimum of at least SGD 1000-1500, with some trips back to MY for the first year. Usually a person's first year expenses are higher as if you're not familiar with SG, you tend to spend a bit more money. you'll probably be able to save more than SGD 1500 after 6 months.

SPH's increment each year is not that bad as well.
