the question is do you even have an offer at sgd4.5k now or are you just making an academic assumption?
singapore cost of living, 1:1, is a lot cheaper than Malaysia except for the "big two" of housing and private vehicular transport.
900sqft 3bedroom hdb = $400+k, of which you need to pony up 20% downpayment + 3-8% stamp duty. 900sqft 3bedroom condo = $1mil+++
basic entry level car is about $110k, of which you need to pony up 40% downpayment.

or alternatively if one is single, can always marry Singaporean and apply for BTO/DBSS somehwere near your in-laws. Can get SGD30k subsidies and BTO/DBSS is alot cheaper than secondary market. After the 5 years MOP, guarantee make money. kaching $$$$

Why? What have you done before?
If you went to jail before, kiss all of your chances goodbye.
SG, in fact no country wants ex-criminal foreigners

Actually that is a very good attitude and I know people who got jobs that way too.
In the working world, you cannot be shy. You need the "can-do" attitude. Esp so if you have no cable. I mean what's the worse thing employers could say when you phone for a vacancy? No vacancy? So what? move on and call the next employer.

Its miles better than those drones who comes here and ask "is it difficult to get a job in SG? What should i ask for in terms of salary? Is SGDXXX to little?" Coz the answer will obviously be yes it is bloody hard to get a job in SG if you do not even have the conviction to land the job and lack the "can-do" attitude or are just too shy.

Attitude should always be I'll give 110% whether its hard or not and I will land the job or do whatever it take to get the job. Talking about money is pointless if you don't even have the conviction of landing a job
