Helo, I have been using the dell optiplex GX270 computer for a year and more and now my system can hardly play any new games with its intergrated graphic card. i tried insert my old gfx card ( geforce2 , agp slot ) to my mobo , it can fit in the mobo but my casing cant close after that, meanning that the card is too "tall" for my casing.

http://docs.us.dell.com/support/edocs/syst...en/ug/specs.htm

www.scs.fsu.edu/classroom/Dell/gx270-spec.pdf

the above 2 website shows the spec of the system. mine is p4 2.8 ghz
after reading the 2 website, i think that the agp card supported are with the below critiria

one low-profile AGP card (card size = 6.35 cm [2.5 inches] high by 16.76 cm [6.6 inches] long)

please help me see if there are some "half-sized" graphic card model/brands or i do not have a choice to upgrade my system sad.gif

thanks very much for the info biggrin.gif

there are lots of half-height cards out there. but they usually come with half the performance as wel tongue.gif you just need to find a suitable bracket, coz most of the cards sold in our market comes with full-height bracket like these:

The card is actually ok with my system, but the "steel plate" of it is too long for my casing to close after fitting this card in the mobo sad.gif

i need some suggestion of the model only i can hunt them in the garage sales forum biggrin.gif
