how to remove the ads:

1. Find the file C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Cache\urls.xml
2. Clear its content and save it (as an empty file).
3. Make the file Read Only.

the ads are gone, but the white empty space still remains there. let's hope someone will come up with a better solution biggrin.gif

to communicate between WLM and Y!M, both the Y!M and WLM users must activate/register for the test.

When I DL-ed that patch, it kept stopping before 100%.
I had to resume several times till it finally got to 100%.
But it works nevertheless.

Did you use a DL manager?
