i dunno i hit a bump hard or hard somehow the two circles (pic taken from internet) are dented (damaged).



so since the car still under warranty, i decided to let perodua handles this prob.

i kena charged

1. the black and silver component RM330
2. Special glue to apply at gasket (i dun even know what is gasket) RM130
3. Labour cost RM50

Fukkkk, it cost me a bomb.

so do u think the price is reasonable?

seriously i think the warranty is just an excuse for the service center to make extra money.
but still got free service(normal service) from them for another 3 years.

ur charge seems like perodua price liao... some forumer gonna say if do outside maybe cost 50% lower... but will void ur warranty lor..
here it will void bcos u tamper with the original part so in future if its related part fail.. it might be due to improper handling by outsider.. same theory la.. u iphone rosak u handle kedai luar.. pastu hantar balik apple sure void ur warranty la..

accident like that not cover with warranty, the price is not reasonable but its perodua SC and nothing cheap there. and that is not gasket.

so they use the glue to glue the black and silver parts together, no?

sorry. not a myvi expert but it does look like the gearbox oil compartment. if yes rm300++ sounds about right i.e transmission oil + gasket

but like what /k said. shouldnt charge you if its still under warranty

FYI, that part called Oil Pan or Oil Sump.
Genuine: RM280
Taiwan-made: RM180

The RTV silicone gasket sealant only cost RM≤30.

yes..pandaipun saigetsu..after the apply the glue,pasang gasket then sandwiched between the black and silver parts.. the gam gasket itself u sudah overpaid..kedai sparepart punya harga below rm100 je..
