any car which is over four years old will of course have a stable RV . regardless forte, city, vios , or whatever car.
Wrong, only cars with proven reliability/durability with easy maintenance and lots of spare parts plus demand from those who buy used cars. Your City failed maintenance and reliability/durability part so it falls behind Vios and now Forte. Not just Koreans overtaking Honta, even Mazda is gaining more trust from buyers.
Back to topic, new Sylphy vs Civic, which 1 will you choose? Sylphy is ugly like those obsolete phased out older generation '03 Korean cars design. Your Civic also boring look with lousy build quality. Only advantage your Civic has over Sylphy is the multi-link rear and more aerodynamic front. Gearbox wise and engine strength, your Civic loses. RV for both just average and might go weaker due to nothing special to go for either 1.
Compared to other brands C-segment, both the Sylphy and Civic don't worth buying, no good reason to buy them.
- If wanted performance and handling with affordable price + good FC, go for Focus.
- If wanted build quality, gadgets, value for money with good interior space, Elantra or Cerato.
- If really have enough cash and wanted best quality, go for Mazda 3 (coming soon CKD variant will have better specs)
- Affordable conti with turbocharged engine, Pug408 or CKD Jetta
- Safe buy Altis
