to go A to B?.. yes, don't expect more.

FC is along 8-9l for 100km mixed. Depends also on your route/right foot..blah blah...

issues?... some "unlucky car" owners' rant..
xos hot, causing some burned marks in your rear boot.
CVT gearbox has some slow response changes, ... if you have not driven a CVT transmission....go test drive Nissan's on alot of stop/go traffic...
air con smells funny....change cabin filter still the same....
dashboard cracking lines.....

nothing "serious" aside that....

Hi all,

I'm interested in getting this car. They are still clearing stock built on 2014. The package they offer now is 16k. I read the posts here and notice this package has been offered since last year. The agent told me the rebate is negotiable. The highest package someone got here is 18k + NAVI + Impul Aerokit on March 2016. I wonder at this time (end of 2016), how much rebate should I ask for?

Please advice. Thank you.

Shoot for the stars. At this end of the year they are trying to clear old stock and meet their sales targets for the year. Car sales are down around 15% this year. I'd imagine Sylphy sales are on the floor at the moment.

If they were giving away more than RM20k in March, they'll give you whatever you want now.

when they first launched... the C-segment is competitive enough already with most of the buyers prefer T&H CKD C-segment compare to CBU Slyphy... and also the design... compare to the other 2 during that time... still lose out very much... also TC didn't really bother selling this model... so minimal A&P incurred for this model... the bought in very minimal units of CBU only...

My local dealer told me too this sylphy is CBU. 2014 model. Not only that, the manufacturing year also 2014. Two years plus keep in store room..seem pitty.. So now offer 3 years warranty only. All other nissan 7 years.

The 1.8VL is offered at 109k. What is the risks to buy old new stock car? Any ideals to share?

Cheers!

Err... the price seems not very attractive I'd compare to Honda Civic... ask SA to give stock clearance best price.

Company car 170k km mileage in 6years . CVT response is definitely much more better than Honda City CVT. I donno it's a CVT until I saw the wordings CVTC. very smooth .

Continuous Variable Valve Timing Control -> CVTC, not a reference to CVT gearbox

Yes. Not saying its not cvt. Old nissan serena also got cvtc word but is not using a cvt gearbox. It's referring to the engine.

NVH wise, i'd say this Sylphy is better than current Altis. btw, I'm driving the current Altis. i'd have opted for Sylphy if TC would've given better discount in 2015.
