should be no prob.. sometimes i also plug out 1 gpu for cleaning and leave the other one working.. never need to reinstall driver.

i once owned asus dcu2 r9 280x and i even run it in crossfire.. never had any issue and the cards run superb and oc like beast.

haiz if my mobo can support tri/quad xfire, will sambar straight away..

asus dcu2 card already looks very big in black colour.. in white it become behemoth! anyway nice mod!

guys need your advice with one of my r9 290... since last week whenever i start my pc, my monitor will display small resolution (similar resolution like before we install gpu driver). when i check in device manager, one of the gpu stopped working and says like "windows have stopped this device because it has reported problems.." and the other one is working properly. To solve it, i need to disable both of the gpus and enable them back again and restart the pc... then the display will turn back to 1080p. Sometimes i need to restart the pc couple of times to resolve it. But the problem only happened when i shut down the pc for couple of hours.. it wont happen if i shut down the pc and boot it back right away . Already reinstall and using latest driver, registry repair and even format the pc but the prob still persist. any advice or suggestion?

already tried using 14.4, 14.9 and 14.9.1.. all giving same weird problems.. last few months i already RMA one of my r9 290 due to artifact problem even at stock clock.. now no more artifact and both gpus overclock very well. But this weird problem really bugged me.. i think it is hardware issue.. haiz need to RMA again ..

seems like i already resolved the issue.. ive used the amd cleanup utility along with registry repair/cleaner and do a full virus scan, all in safe mode.. i also reapply the thermal paste and make some cleaning of the gpus.. since yesterday, the problem never happen yet. hmm tbh i donno how exactly it solve the problem.. maybe the gpus only wanted some physical attention and care.. which they haven't get it since the past 6 months lol!

eh idealtech do make business through lelong? if yes, what is their name? i cant find 'idealtech' in lelong btw..

hahaha bro i think in future you can ask idealtech for some royalties.. or at least special promotion just for you due to your free advertisement for them. Or maybe you can help me by asking them what is their name in lelong? i strongly believe idealtech do make business in lelong.. maybe they using totally different name ..

ipmart is a trustable online seller.. i bought some items from them few months ago and the deal were very smooth.. btw you can pm them an ask about the gpu prior to payment.. just to make sure they really have the stock and warranty.

But seriously the price so tempting.. next monday if the offer still there, ill probably will get it..

I bought the gpu yesterday night.. and today the status already delivered. If everything ok, i should receive the gpu on monday.. lol! . Bought it for my little cousin.. he still using hd3870 haha!

Its actually my 1st pc setup with the gpu back in 2007 if im not mistaken.. i gave it to him together with other pc parts for his first pc in 2009.. surprisingly he still using all of it and everything works very fine.. with that hd3870, he still can play dota 2 max setting and grid 2 high on 720p lol!
Not bad for a 7 years old card..

eh btw just wanna inform you all ive received the hd6950 today.. indeed its a used gpu but the condition is not bad.. everything looks fine.. just a little bit dusty. however i only received the gpu.. no box,cd and accessories.. will test it later when ill get back home.

yeah there were few games that dont support crossfire.. usually you will experiencing fps drop such as 60ish fps in dual gpu compared to 100ish fps in single gpu.. sometimes, the2nd gpu will not even run at all and will remain idle during gaming even though you enable crossfire mode.. and there were also stuttering and screen tearing and bla2.. HOWEVER, currently crossfire config are very friendly with todays game especially to the big titles. almost all latest game will take benefit from crossfire.. if they dont, it will later by adding patch/xfire profile. i think since 2010, crossfire have improved a lot and very minimum ppl found unsupport crossfire in any games. in my experienced, since 2012, i only encounter 2 games that perform bad in crossfire.. the other 100 (not sure how many game i owned ), all good with crossfire.. even dota 2 support crossfire lol!
