Or better u sending to real modder like Allngap to modding your fan. I thinking u better dont mod others ppls things oso since u not know simple mod like this.

Hahaha...right at the ballz tongue.gif

Luckily I still have the pics in online.

1) Fan satu biji..
user posted image

2) Sticker kasi remove. Some fans have another cover for the motor (lil black wan in the pic)
user posted image

3) See the lil white retainer ring..use a flat screw driver to force it out of place to and remove. Gotta be careful not to lose the ring. It may just pop out and go missing...then ur farked.
user posted image

4) Fan blades can be just pulled off
user posted image

5) If ya wanna remove to motor itself and its too tight...use a philip screw driver..wrap it with lotsa tissue..poke it into the hole...and hammer it to force the motor out tongue.gif

that gaylord character is probably just someone who created a nick just to smack people....look at his postcount...its still at 1 heh....

but i like the way he posted man..... its like taking a sledgehammer and smashing the guys balls and then in the end say..."Don angry ar, I gif honest opinion oni." laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

but seriously...case modding and fan painting aint the same ler... case modding cut here n cut there.... fan painting requires some delicacy especially with the friggin ring

It's plastic lar. It won't snap. Ya just gotta push it down until it slips from the groove and then flick it out while covering the hole with your hand so it don't go missing in action.

The metal clips on some of those fast spinning deltas is another story. Those are da b1tch.

For fan without clip or any hole behind you can try to push the fan out directly, but don't apply too much force as it might brake the fins smile.gif

Just curious to know, is all the fan detachable? I mean the fan and the bracket? If it can be detach, is it just cabut the fan out or there is a way of cabutting it? Because i wanna wash it and i was thinking tat dipping a fan into a pail full of detergen and water is a bad idea.

Yes, fans can be disassembled, there was an old thread in one of the forums about it. The real risk of washing with detergent is that it will mess up the bearing-best if remove it before washing or you'll have to clean the detergent off, dry it carefully and reoil it. Otherwise your fan will die within say, 1 year.

Add: I could show you, but I don't have a camera. Sigh, always have to borrow...

Yup, its as easy as ABC.
But those kind of fans got 1 problem which is a bit noisy compare to those nid to pull off d retension ring. But those fans' balde won't easily tercabut coz I tried install it back n power it on.
B4 u dismantle d fans make sure u didn't mix up what i explain wif Mr. Sniper posted previously coz their r different type of locking mechanism. If u straight away cabut those fans wif retension ring then u'll end up wif d whole fan's frame broken sweat.gif

if not mistaken, removing the blade with force is never a good thing as you will scratch or damage the bearings because you dont have proper mechanism to push it out vertically......if you just pull out like that, it will put excessive force on some parts of the bearings and will probably damage it...

this type of locking mechanism is longer available in production, these are really old models

let me show you the baddest and the meanest bearings to remove.....
usually found on Nidec fans.....just a wire strip bent into a C shape...... brows.gif brows.gif

if you can remove this, then you're at my level already tongue.gif tongue.gif

till now i have not successfully removed Panaflo's locking mechanism without damaging anything....... doh.gif
