I noticed  improvement in battery life for 4.4.3 with stock kernel

Since you'd mention skype, 2 days ago I had a skype video conversation over wifi for 1.5 hour. Everything goes well. No surge of power draw visible.

How are your battery consumption when playing music? Using mortplayer (love the folder sorting and lock screen function) and I noticed it's quite a drain on the battery, like playing music in the background and messaging uses 1%/min

You can just flash another rom and then flash any compatible kernel.

Hi all i try the method to get the update 4.4.3 once i try to update its says verification error.. See the picture.. Why ya? Mine is HK set..

Also, guys. I just went back to complete stock rom and kernel followed with a clean wipe.

I noticed some lag or jutter. Then I noticed it was because of the default runtime being dalvik.( I was using art previously with stock rom and elementalx kernel )

The lag was very obvious when I was using the multitasking window as the app lags for half a second before loading up on dalvik while it was instant on art.

So, for those who want to get a little speed boost, please do change to ART runtime. If you're not sure how to, you can refer to the 1st page.

Also apply the latest adreno driver

Use wugfresh toolkit

Half of my songs are FLAC as well. Try switch to other music apps see if got improvement or not. I do note that FLAC does consume much higher processing than mp3

Last weekend no time flashy flashy, this weekend some more need work 
Next weekend only can, by that time, 4.4.3 hype gone    (pssh, I don't mind)
Maybe will have more rom update to 4.4.3, then I can test 'em all 

Here also. Still waiting for PA. Suppose update on Monday ( US time ), so it's today. Been checking on it few times already today 

LTE signal is strong?

I read somewhere that one of the major reasons why phones drain a lot of battery when using 3G/LTE is because of poor network coverage..

I also like Google N5 more than LG. 
OIC. But I checked most of the store in Selangor are selling LG N5. So which store is selling GN5 ?
