Hey guys, new user here. I have big problem here that I needed to share.

I bought my nexus 5, online, a couple of weeks ago. It works perfectly until yesterday when I received a phone call. The voice at the other end sound seriously noisy and distorted all the way and I can barely understand a thing. I thought its a temporary problem and dismissed it. Today I received a call from my sister and again the problem occurred. My sister then called me on another phone, and the call went smoothly, so evidently the problem was with mine.

I tried to replace the sim card with my sister's into my phone to see whether its a telco problem, but any call made through my phone still sound distorted.

I Google abit to find answers to this issue, and did the workaround posted in XDA forums, but none works. The weird thing was when I try to make a call, the distortion started from the dial tone and last until the call end. It sound all garbled. The same thing happen when I put it on loudspeaker. And apparently the user at the other end of my call can hear my voice just fine .

So you guys here have any suggestions? What should I do next? Should I try sending my phone back to the shop and get a replacement (best case scenario, but doubtful I can get one) or what? I love my new phone too much and I'm seriously losing my mind over this. 

And btw, my phone is rooted and on stock ROM.

I find Franco more useful to Nexus 4 user. Nexus 5 screen is fine for me.
