On-wheel balancing advantages:
• The machine is capable to ram-up the wheel speed up to 120km/h. Thus, solving the high speed vibration problem.
• Beside balancing the wheel, on-wheel balancing also balance up the imperfection of wheel hub, brake rotor and drive shaft.
Disadvantages:
• Put stress on final drive differential due to one side of the wheel is not moving.
• The process may leave some minor scratch marks on tyre sidewall.
• ABS warning light will illuminate due to the system detected some wheel is not moving.
i've been wondering, can we do this kind of balancing on AWD car or at least car equipped with LSD? • The machine is capable to ram-up the wheel speed up to 120km/h. Thus, solving the high speed vibration problem.
