'Not follow schedule' as in not servicing the car at the supposed mileage/months OR the previous owner did not service at Ford?
*
Don't know bro. Might be either one. Maybe both also. Last service according to the record was on 2015. Maybe last owner did service at other workshop, I don't know.

Overall, I'm so satisfied with this car. I went to some showrooms to test-drive Tucson, CX5 and Subaru XV. No regret with this purchase.

Yes, I test drove as well. Powerful car I must say. Hopefully no more serious issue with yours in the coming days. nod.gif

But haven't been seeing new car on the road nowadays...

Greeting to all Kuga owners

I am considering on the used Ford Kuga, personally I love Kuga exterior , the 1.6 turbo and all wheels drive system.

I need some advise from all the Dai Gor at here,

1) Most of the used units on sale is 2013/2014 , if full service record provided will I eligible for the remain warranty period ?
As 5 years warranty shall end at 2018/2019

2) Any major problems on Kuga ?
I see one owner complaint that Kuga will have engine overheat problem after send to SC for checking the problem still remain.
anyone experience this , wondering is this problem common or is a special case.

3) Servicing
From above post, there is one bros mentioned he have to replace the disc rotor around 40K+
Is it common for disk brake and disk rotor wear out every 40K ? I tot disk rotor shall last longer than disk brake....

4) fuel consumption
from previous post , most daigor claim that it is less than 10km per litter
Any daigor can share about their data ~

Hope I can get more info at here, need some mentally preparation on the future maintenance for Kuga before I commit it.

Ford streamlined their offering. Kuga no longer there. So I would believe anything parts related to Kuga will be getting scarce - or rather parts getting more expensive (and 2nd hand getting cheaper in a way).

There were complaints of engine overheat/fire locally. This was huge problem in Europe, many units caught fire. Ford had a massive recall to fix a fuel line leak in Europe. I actually turned down, when the recall did not fix the problem. Probably fixed by now.

I would advise to check on spars availability before buying. This model did not sell well in Malaysia.

Guys, my family member's kuga just caught fire and burned down. Fire started while they are driving it without them realising it. Just becareful if there are passersby honking you for no reason. Stop and check quickly. The fire spread within a minute.

Any of you have any fire issues before? Or heard of it locally? Thinking what's the next course of action

If you google around.. the Kuga is prone to fire. It had a wordwide recall by Ford 1-2 years ago.
