How's Tarik jeans for you? Can you give a simple review on the workmanship, price point, fitting etc?
Never heard some one reviewing it before.
Many thanks!
Lemme see. I'd been following Tarik jeans for a while, and honestly was quite put off by their early offerings. Their original leather patch, the stylized 'tarik' font back pocket stitching, and the selvedge line on the outside of the coin pocket, these details were... not my taste I guess
Then they released the Tarik Redline. Reworked leather patch which looked WAY better, plain back pockets, inner pocket lining in maroon. This more subtle looking pair got me to visit Nusantara Denims in Subang to check em out. Was really impressed by the feel of the denim, the cut they seem to be going for is something slim-ish, meant to be worn a bit low. At first the fit didnt feel so good but from experience figured they would slowly stretch and soften (which they did!

)
Only thing they need to work on is the zipper. First pair I tried had a faulty zipper, and it sounded like they had a few pairs with the same problem. Probably not using button fly to keep the price lower. As for the price, I'd say it's very fair for the product you get. It's worth the money. I'm satisfied with the quality.
I really recommend you check out the store in SS15, just try a pair and see how you like it.

Uniqlo selvedge is indigo blue. Straight cut only. Quality ok la for its price. No patch (thats why its cheaper than the las time? Hahahaha)
How ever its a bit too soft from the last uniqlo selvedge i bought.
Not all blue. They had a run in black as well some time back.
BTW, haven't posted here in ages. LAYANGLAYANG still around? I'm still hunting for a jacket similar to the persimmon dyed Sugarcane jacket you posted ages ago. Any leads?
