Hi all, yesterday I just bought new Thermaltake BigWater SE installed on my system. It seems very hot while full load after overclock my system. It was about 48C!! My room temperature is about 26-28c. I'm pretty sure my water block is installed properly... no bubble on tubing.. anyone can tolong tolong?

its just an entry level water cooling kit, so dont expect much...
i used a Thermaltake Bigwater non SE before, it is better than stock heatsink, but its perform just around the same with those heatsink with heatpipes... and nowadays, a lot of those heatsink like synthe ninja can outperform the bigwater...

TT Bigwater, that's actually quite a normal temperature for a barton.

erm.. 48c on full load is normal i guess..

mine was 45 - 48 c on full load.

and mine was Bigwater non-se

If u want better performance, i wud say DIY a WAtercooling Kit around the price of a NEW BIGwater System

But its worth it

aik... then i think my existing TT Silent Tower is better lar.... aiyoooo wasted my money... the temperature almost the same...

It depends, if your full load temps were much higher with stock cooling then the money was saved. What are the temperatures you are getting with stock cooling?

Also how are you checking your temperatures?

i use external to check my thermometer to monitor my cpu temperature. Previously air cooling idle was 43-46c full load was 50-52c. Now water cooling idle 46c full load about the same with air cooling also..
damn!! waste my money

Not all watercooling kits are good.
To normal users, most will know that TT Bigwater series *in fact, MOST budget WC kit*, performs not too good, per price ratio of course.

The only comfort you can have in mind right now is.. hey, it's bling bling right? Too low temps for what? Start case modding and bling bling la.


IF you can try getting yourself one of those bulked WC kits by metalzone or.. fantasy kenny (I think that's his name). Those are DIY kits which are made up by quality parts.

tt bigwater kit is not so efficient, small tubings, weak pump etc... a bigwater even pawned by big typhoon or xp-90c with good fan, watercooling mostly depends on pump and tubings sizes, and of course the flow of the water... good pump plus good block make a more efficient water cooling kit... but normally would course above rm500..

Id say the silent tower worked better at idle and full load. considering the idle temp is lower.

try changing ur pump to a DIY.

Get a Nirox P2800 , and mod the fittings to a 1/4, i think metalzone can do that,

than try and see is there any difference in temps.

last time i was customade 1 water cooling with Nirox P2800 pump.. i don't think this pump is good enough.. i leave it for testing and the water get warm after an hour.. it was becoz of the pump warm up the water...

But for 40+ degrees is very hot adi lar..

yeah... those kit come in handy..
but before u get something. maybe should survey around..whats come d best..
though lotta ppl wont reccomend a those entry lvl Watercooling..

Luckily I get the AlphaCool Demo set from Raymond at RM 480. I almost buy Bigwater SE too thinking it will be a little bit better around 2-3c better then the best heatsink. But I think you should gain some benefit such as silent setup.

I don't think so.. my previous HSF is SilentTower... this TT BigWater SE is much noisy than SilentTower... coz i run full fan speed for the water cooling

bigwater...the perf is almost same like hyper6+
ur temp are normal laaa..me oso using wC and my temp is higher than urs..
