Boss.
Good ah?

My say ah...
Holding on to high dividend yielding stocks is NOT 100% fool proof...
There's always one failure story somewhere....

High dividend yielding stocks lose their luster when the interest rates rise. For Malaysia, doesn't seem like anytime soon but if inflation goes rampant then no choice lose. When rates up dividend yielding stocks will lose their attractiveness.

I have worked with nestle suppliers before, in terms of their food safety requirements is very strict.

I can't give more details, but they have been monitoring raw materials which requirement exceed the European standards.  rclxms.gif

But of course, there is always rumor here and there.. innocent.gif

After reading your article, Nestle was at fault. No MSG but got MSG pulak. Deceptive labeling.
Not to mention all 3 in 1 stuff all loaded with sugar.

Depends. If interest rates rise because economy is good, dividend will get bigger as companies can charge more drool.gif If interest rate increases because poor economy, then whole different story. Even growth stocks also no growth as there's no demand.

If a company can pay consistent dividend, the balance sheet must be strong. Of course they can take loan to boost dividend also whistling.gif

Got read whole article or not? It is not about msg, it is about lead content, which the indian goverment accuse them for and was struck out after proven due to faulty testing. tongue.gif

They change the label later because they dont want more PR prob in the future. India require a product to label if they add MSG.

Got read. I suspect the long delivery might have cause it to be contaminated. But it's still unforgivable on their part. Add MSG but label as no MSG.

i have this crazy idea of buying 3 lots of nestle malaysia and do short term trading (sell when share unit price increase by 1.50 or more) since this share has not much fluctuation.. do you think it is possible?

Interested to know why you are expecting that spike? Or just plainly from technical pattern analysis?

Mostly likely middle of next week

I have never seen them delay it after August but with everything going on that might be the case
