personally, i prefer real chicken. it is mostly cheaper on a per gram protein basis

chicken is RM5.99-RM6.29, and supplies 200g-250g protein per kg of chicken (on top of 1.5K+ calories)
eggs can give 6g per shot. RM0.30-RM0.33 each

i was looking of protein powder few weeks ago..
cause i hardly get enough protein from my diet..
but i give up looking.. cause they are too expensive

now i eat KFC and tesco roasted chicken
now i gain 1.5kg just in few week

better cook yourself, scare you are taking other proteins. KFC probably has waaaay more negatives than positives.

learn how to use dry herbs etc.

chicken @ RM5.99-RM6.40 can give 250gram protein per kg, will come to only RM0.0256 per gram of protein

most whey/shakes have a RM0.033-RM0.0999 per gram of protein.

why we need whey protein when we have fish, chicken, meat, egg, etc...??
*
i actually can understand a bit.

chicken has 50:50 fat
egg has colestrol
fish is expensive on a per protein gram basis

So a cheaper alternative, low fat, and low colestrol is whey.
