Spoken to a few friends, realize that people are still more comfortable with investing through a agent. Not sure what to expect since I have never invest through an agent before.

Reason why I'm shifting...change of stewardship from OSK-UOB to RHB-OSK...RHB not well known for fund management esp equities...

Aberdeen employs team-based approach, RHB-OSK GEY is more of a one-(wo)man show...

Reduce...reduce...

By shifting from GEYF to AIW, you will be reducing their US exposure by quite a big percentage, and increasing your Europe exposure. Right?

Btw just want to clarify for those that have been following UT performance quite closely this recent months, from historical data DJIA and HSI has increased 3% and 7% approximately YTD. However, we see GEYF performance slipped.

I remember last time whenever I see DJIA fall significantly on that day, GEYF NAV price would reflect the same which sort of gave me the alert for top up. However, nowadays not the case anymore. So for people that invest in both AIW and GEYF like Pink Spider, how do you see which fund to top up. I know of your rebalancing rule. But you can't always rebalance the laggard segment right?

Yeah...I noticed that too. Break of correlation already...and most probably flawed stock-picking doh.gif

Based on a chart with Wong Seafood shared recently, seems like currenrly, European equities are SLIGHTLY cheaper than US ones.

Now I GEYF 2:1 AIWE ratio

If GEYF continues to underperform, might even go 1:1

Okay, at least it's not only me that noticed the pattern.

I have been in GEYF since August 2013, but I'm only getting 1% ROI to date. Underperformed or laggard or just too high SC? sad.gif

(1) Time frame - too short lar...1-year is too short to assess a fund
(2) Laggard, yes
(3) Timing - u went in during the fund's weak patch

But coincidentally, that's around the time the fund management changed hands from UOB Asset Management (Singapore) to RHB hmm.gif

Eat grass already loh like that rclxub.gif

That's alright, we shall see how AIW performed in the near future. That time you also enter your 3x period already tongue.gif

Why does my cash management fund's COST always increase after switch buy?

I don't get what you mean. You mean the NAV price I suppose?

Well, if the NAV price don't increase, what's the point of investing the amount which you put in earlier. NAV price unchanged, means you not getting any "interest" as well right? One way to look at it...

I beg to differ. It used to be that case as noticed by me and Pink, but not that much right now. We were referring to RHB-OSK GEYF smile.gif

RHB OSK GEY keep going down. I started at RM0.4373, topped up few times as it dropped. Just topped up again on 1.8.14, i cannot stand seeing it going down, i want to top up again. Loss averaged out at -2.5%.

My best performer-  Eastspring Investment Global emerging market makes 11% already, i feel like selling it off to buy this GEY ...

U keep topping up, you will realize you losing more.. Cause higher SC to cover...

Gain side: 10/15% from average unit price
Stop loss: -10% from average unit price

What if you have ponzi fund that it is getting well above 15%, you will sell and buy back when the biggest region (China+HK) exposure have a correction?

Actually I have 3 funds which have simple ROI > 10/15%.

Everyday I receive the daily alert even though I feel irritated.

Well, I'm still thinking of the strategy.

Look for new global fund to invest already. AIW + GEYF combo will soon no longer be a good combination.

MY combo of global fund

PGSF (11.5%) + KAFGEF (9%) + AIWEF (6.2%) + RHB-OSKGEYF (7%)

Among them best performance still goes to AIWEF
*
Suddenly I regretted selling off PGSF for GEYF. Later sell off GEYF, and dead cat decided to come back alive.
