Not sure if it's a good idea to use a bond fun for parking, bond funds can be pretty volatile, it's better to use CMF for a parking place. Transaction time is also faster smile.gif

Can EPF to CMF?

Fixed Income is not really "fixed", it's just a name for fund that invests in bonds, money market and other forms of deposits.
*
Fixed is also meant that the fund mandate to declare distribution on fixed basis - annually for example.

I wonder why Kenanga Growth and Eastspring Small Cap dropped given the fact that KLSE rose today contributed by the inflow of foreign fund + high local trade volume and value?
*
FBM KLCI is only comprised of 30 big cap companies.

Analysts said the trend was also reversing from small capitalised stocks, which had a strong run this year, to blue chips.

“Foreign funds are looking into the blue chips after the stronger-than-expected second quarter GDP data and also expectations of another 25 basis points hike in the Overnight Policy Rate,” said a senior analyst.

ESIEIF doesn't track KLCI well.

I have been monitoring this fund for few weeks and its NAV is swinging within the range of 0.88XX

Doing some research to park at which fund.

It'll be an income fund meaning it should NOT be as aggressive as the EIGF, EIMYFF or KGF.

Who loves our southern neighbour?

Singapore: What Will It Take To Reach 3,900?

CONCLUSION

At this juncture, we think valuations for some of the more troubled sectors already factor in a considerable level of investor pessimism (as we have discussed above), while valuations for the Singapore market on the whole are still modest, with the market’s 2014 forecasted PE at 14.6X (as of 18 August 2014), below our 16X fair value estimate. Despite lacklustre expectations for certain sectors, earnings are still forecasted to grow by a further 8.7% and 10.1% in 2015 and 2016 respectively after stalling somewhat in 2013 (see Chart 7), which will bring valuations lower to 13.5X and 12.2X based on the two respective years. As shown in Table 3, applying a 16X fair PE estimate to next year’s earnings could see the FTSE STI attain new all-time highs by end-2015. This also suggests upside potential in excess of 30% by end-2016 for Singapore equities, while the inclusion of dividends should see the Singapore equity market deliver a 15.9% annualised return over this period, warranting us maintaining a 3.5 star “attractive” rating on the market.

European Stocks Climb After Draghi Signals More Stimulus

And for Europe lovers:

What's Next For Europe & Its Assets?

CONCLUSION

With equity valuations remaining close to our estimated fair value coupled with negative revisions to earnings estimates amidst a thus far sluggish recovery in the Eurozone, we maintain our 2.5 Star – Neutral rating on the region. While investors might find more attractive investment opportunities in higher rated regions such as Asia ex Japan and the Emerging Markets (both sport 5.0 Star – Very Attractive ratings), retaining some equity exposure to the European equity market is necessary for portfolio diversification purposes.

As for investors seeking European fixed income exposure, given that yields and spreads for European fixed income assets are hard to be seen as attractively valued, particularly for European high yield bonds when compared to their US high yield peers which we have already turned cautious on, we would suggest investors avoid European high yield and fixed income exposure. As mentioned in Value In Asian High Yield And Emerging Markets Debt, we currently favour the Asian High Yield and Emerging Market debt sectors amongst the riskier segments of fixed income, whilst maintaining a preference for short duration bond funds within the safer segments of fixed income.

Ok smile.gif already emailed them..
I ttold them I want to add cash every month, manually of automatically deduct also can..then they tell me to go into RSP? What's the return rate for the RSP? Around how Much?

They said RSP will automatically deduct..so the other funds I can't add like for every monthly even if manually?

Also I saw the lost of funds.. The balanced fund seems right is the agreesive..equity funds seems risky although the profits forequity is quite good..I'll have a tough time choosing between equity or balanced..
*
RSP has no return. It's called regular saving plan; monthly contribution to the nominated fund at as low as RM 100. It's actually debit instruction from your saving account or CMF.

Unless you park your money into CMF (cash management fund) and perform RSP from CMF to the nominated fund.
