Maybe I'm wrong too but from my experience is that the battery act as a buffer for electrical shock. When you remove the battery with the engine running the voltage generated by the alternator varies so without the battery in place the supply varies also. In such case maybe things will and will not get fry but life span of IC chips might get shorten as electronic stuff has very small tolerance to spike.

Still best is to get hold an ECU and open it up to see what's inside and to see if there's a back up battery inside.

Anyway back to main topic, my gaga seems like having problem with left door lock at the back. 
Sometimes it lift up when unlock and sometimes didnt lift up. Luckily me only driving alone without bring any passenger.
If got passenger sure they r annoying when trying to open the door. Will report to SC for next date.

Proton SC said replace CVT oil no need replace CVT filter. Would damage the CVT this way?

The quick test for this is switch on the aircond blower while car is OFF, internal circulation mode, borrow your wife's perfume and spray at the area on top of windshield cover...if u can smell it in cabin, means the setup is fail...u can get very quick result by this method instead of go behind the bus to test. But make sure you ask permission to use her perfume, else...  

Anyway, last time using sponge is not satisfy, my latest countermeasure for this is seal the intake vent by bitumen strip, and seal the vent water drainage below that too (at the firewall, beside car lock siren). 0% of outside air can come in from there even i switch to intake mode...but this is extreme countermeasure, if u worry suffocate, don do it...so far i drive back Ipoh-JB so many times without feel suffocate la, becos car cabin is never air tight at all.
