QUOTE(reehdus @ Apr 15 2014, 04:51 PM)
was taking a look at the mistakes by clattenburg. honestly i think sakho's challenge on dzeko was a penalty. demichelis' tackle on suarez had some contact but not to the amount suarez suggested. contact but no foul i'd say. kompany inside the box handled suarez, should've been one. but skrtel's 'punch'...this one i'm not so sure. if you look carefully, kompany seemed to be pushing skrtel from behind and skrtel looks to be turning around to look at kompany. he doesn't even see the ball coming but turns back once he feels contact on his arm. what do you guys think?

I thought it was purely unintentional. But after looking at replay I thought he knew where the ball will be, he looked away but his hand remains there.

Gerrard and co. how could you do this to them? cry.gif Now they are mentally wounded sweat.gif

QUOTE
Pellegrini accepted his side were not at their best against Sunderland and said they struggled to banish the memories of Sunday’s 3-2 defeat to Liverpool.

He explained: "We couldn't take out of our minds the game against Liverpool and that was why the team didn't play well. We needed more intensity but our mind maybe was not in the moment to do it."

Pellegrini, who felt his players suffered more from mental fatigue than physical tiredness, said he had to substitute top scorer Sergio Aguero, who made his first start since recovering from a hamstring injury.

On another note, Palace will be a tricky and tough test to our squad. Player to watch, Bolasie. Seems to be on fire against Everton

About selfishness: tongue.gif

Raheem said:
"I got in, cut back in and saw Dan [Sturridge], but the selfishness in me said to try and go myself, so I shifted it back onto my right again and luckily enough it was an open net to slot home.

"It was a great pass from Luis and a great run from Dan to drag the defenders out of the way, so I need to give credit to both of them.

"I'm just thankful I slotted because if I hadn't I would have gotten a bit of stick off Daniel! It was a good feeling to score in such a big game."

Is it striker problem or the way chelsea play make their striker look bad?no way shevchenko realy that bad. Torres like a clueless uncle jogging in the field when playing for chelsea.

Torres seems to be doing all the right things... but somehow something doesn't click
