Hey guys and welcome to another tech hardware review from Era of The Geeks.
This week we have the CM Storm Mizar from Cooler Master!
This mouse actually reminds me of another mouse on the market. Hmm... BUT, all is well in the land of gamers. This mouse came to me, sent by Cooler Master Malaysia (thanks!) and took me by surprise of how good of a product it is!
The right handed ergonomic design fits my hand perfectly and with the help of the rubber pads on both sides help me take control faster and more efficient. To be honest, the released price in Singapore is about SGD98 which converted by Google currency conversion would take you back to RM230-ish. Its actually not a bad deal!
The LED colors can be customized to your liking eventhough its not all the colors in the world but I guess its sufficient for your needs. Talking about customization the software is really good, after setting everything up, one click on the "Apply" button and voila! Its saved and set! So you can unplug it and carry it around to any of your travels or LAN Party and theres no need for software anymore because all of your settings are saved onboard the 128Kb memory in the mouse itself.
High quality parts are put into this mouse and surely it will last you a long gaming life. I'm sure FPS gamers and Dota 2 freaks and HoN or LoL aficionado will well appreciate this mouse.
There is little to complain about this mouse, just the weight that makes it feel cheap. I wish I had more LED colors to choose from and I also felt the braiding on the cable could be thicker. Again, its a cheap alternative rather than buying a RM400+ gaming mice with almost the same features.
Overall, its all you need to start fraggin'!
