Hi all lowyat forummers, just a head up for you all to avoid this shop if possible.

I got my KW coilover from a supplier where the price I paid for the coilovers was included the installation fee, thus there's no reason for me not to install at Lim tyre at all without knowing they have had tremendous bad feedbacks all over the webs (If I knew, I will definitely not be there).

It was raining day when they were installing my car, and guess what, they actually picked up my coilovers (both original and KW) and threw forward (Slightly higher height and drop down with a sound of impact) like a bowling and rolling forward in order for them not to get soak. This is NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HAPPENED and be treated to a coil. Something surprised me was they dare to do so in front of me ! And I didn't scold them but to tell them politely not to but seem nothing to them. They were installing it and I didn't want drama to risk. Ok fine, I bare with it.

What pissing me off and brought this up today is, as promised as a package price I paid that I am entitle to go back for second time to adjust the accurate height I preferred after the springs have been fully settled. Well, the boss was seemed like he didn't want to entertain me at all. He told me to wait from 2.30pm-6pm just to do that, jack up, take all the rims and turn the coilover. His expression is disgust the most like "Do it or Leave" kinda attitude. I believe my KW supplier had told me about the installers throwing coilover issue and he seemed not sorry at all.

Perhaps, because of the owner's son is driving a M3, the deal isn't important at all.

Like Father like son, both are arrogant. Vincent and Marcus.

Good luck to them to act in this way in such competitive market.

Till today I still don't understand why there's still people like to test something that are already known. A tire shop is meant to change tire, check alignment and balancing.
Changing other parts look for a foreman to do the job.
This is a known SOP on maintaining our car.

It came with a package, where I got further discount on my coilover plus without the awareness of this super lousy service + workmanship quality, I went.
If I would known, I would ask for discount or don't discount at all and install somewhere else rather, I don't mind. Dammit. I would go Sunway my mechanic. Once and only, Lim tyre is only Lim tyre.

Do you think those rich fellows will go and read forums here and there? They won't, mostly.

People simply observe what car is there and they drive in cus they feel confidence, but then the son is driving M3, always park there lol.

Professional? A bloody alignment dude doesn't know how to do my alignment, ride after lowered where the front left and right wheel camber can't be adjusted to the same degree as our road is lean to the left for water to go into drain, which was I found out after I have consulted several shops, but they don't even know what's the reason, drove my car out for at least 5-7 times and shoke head no idea why can't be adjusted to the same. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Not trying to sabotage, but these are facts.
