ADOPTED

Type of Pet: Dwarf Hamster

Name of Pet: Doro (Agouti) , MoonMoon (Husky)

Age: 7months old (June 2014)

Breed:Roborovski Hamster (Agouti & Husky)

Sex: Female (Agouti), Male (Husky)

Location: Kota Kemuning & Subang Jaya

Special needs: -non-

Reason for adoption/ Message for interested parties:

I am furthering my studies overseas, so nobody will be taking care of them while I am away. I wish I could bring them along, but we all know that this is impossible. So, this is my last resort. I hope anyone who takes them in will take excellent care of them as they are not "toys". They deserve to be cared even though hamsters have a short lifespan compared to other larger pets.

MoonMoon has a special white stripe on his back across his neck. This makes him unique. He inherited the stripe from his father.

Doro was named after Dorothy Dietrich who was a famous escape artist. Doro loves to climb. She escaped twice when she was a baby therefore I decided to name her Doro. You could make her cardboard "apartments" or platforms if u have spare cereal boxes. She loves it. Same goes to MoonMoon. Both of them loves cardboard/popsicle stick huts and "buildings".

I will be giving some popsicle huts, platforms and a cardboard maze (you can throw the maze away if u don't want it) when you adopt them along with some leftover hamsters supplies (food, treats, bedding etc.) if I have any. If you are feeling creative, I can also give you the leftover popsicle sticks. smile.gif

Reason for adoption/ Message for interested parties:
friend of mine who owns a pet shop has been rescuing stray cats / dogs and feeding them while looking for new people to adopt them. her only condition is that adopter deposits RM100 with her and will be refunded when they are neutered or spayed (minus the neutered and spay cost).
if you don't plan to have them neutered or spayed, let her know. the pets are FOC.

=ADOPTED =

BY A NICE MAN WHO CAN PROVIDE HER A NICE HOME TO STAY
BE HAPPY ALWAYS SHIRO, DADDY AND MUMMY WILL MISS YOU

Type of Pet: Puppies

Name of Pet: we call her shiro

Age: 2 month plus approx

Breed: maybe got husky mix

Sex: female

Location: old klang

Contact number: 0164864592

Special need/care:you might need to bring her to vet for vaccine, unless after I brought her to, then a little adoption fees might apply.

Reason for adoption/ Message for interested parties: Found her self approach to my friend house, friend can't keep her due to she is a cat person, ourself having 2 dogs and staying in condo

Advantage of adopting her : she is quite active and attached to owner, she could be a real good guard dog as she "attack" in playful way. She is not afraid of bigger object. We believe she can be train well.

This might be long overdue, but thought I'd just share something about Shiro. Actually, she was adopted by my dad... heheh. And yea, she is a great little doggy. Very intelligent, and I could train her very easily. She makes the oddest friends though... like a monitor lizard and a pair of owls. We call her Sandy now.

But the real story I wanted to share here is how one good deed (by her rescuers), has been paid forwards (by Sandy). The story goes like this:

It was about a month back when I returned to KL for a week's sabbatical after being away for months in Sarawak. And on one of those days, I decided to go for an evening walk around the lake behind my house with Sandy. I was sitting down and enjoying the evening sunset view with Sandy by my side, when she suddenly perked up, and darted away to a secluded corner of the lake where the canal was located. I thought she had found something amusing to play with, but then she turned back, looked at me, and barked. I followed her quickly... and found her surrounded by a litter of kittens. Small little things, barely a few weeks old, and they were howling madly with hunger as they clambered around her legs.

I took them home and fed them of course, and later found out that they belonged to a mother cat of my neighbor's. The mother cat had died after being attacked by a fierce dog FOUR DAYS ago. In other words, the poor little things had not eaten anything for a long while now, and had Sandy not found them and called me to them, they'd most likely end up being dead.

So in round-about way, a rescued pup had paid forward the kind deed of her rescuers, by rescuing the lives of these little kittens in return. I thought I'd share it here, and sort of encourage people... that what you do... saving, rescuing, and adopting abandoned pets... those kind deeds are not forgotten by these animals. They know what you've done for them.
