So according the video, if the pedal was pressed fully there would still be resistant as the car try to maintain its fuel efficiency while in high throttle unless you press it all the way down until the 'click sound/feel' it will be like you break the resistant and the engine reveal its true power......niceeee until you reach plateau haha blame the speed limiter for that.

Thanks for sharing the video though... smile.gif

That's what I thought to.

I use the "-" on the paddle shift. It suddenly shift to 2nd gear at 60km/h and RPM at 7,000 and rising to redline.

I quickly release the pedal and still at 2nd gear, revving. I step at RPM5,000 hoping it will auto shift but still in 2nd gear and revv higher.

So, I use the "+" to shift higher gear. Then only it starts to go auto...

Very dangerous lah on the manual shifting..
*
actually i experience this even in auto mode one time only so far... i was driving quite fast around 100km/h then suddenly got a stalled car in front of me and my next lane got another car with speed on par with me...so i press the pedal deeper..... then the rpm just rev high.... usually when press pedal the engine rev and speed increase fast...somehow this time i felt a bit lag even the engine rev so loud...

i went to sunway pyramid just now, there is a roadshow for mazda.
here's the story, there is a soul red m3 and a lots of ppl were looking at it..
sudd, i heard a young man right beside me told his gf/wife:" 139k for such a small car and so many features were cut, only stupid will get it."

vmad.gif  mad.gif  vmad.gif  mad.gif

my wife look at me and laugh:"darling, we are stupid !!"

cry.gif  cry.gif
*
seriously before i bought my M3, i have the same mindset..... biggrin.gif
its rm140k and it comes with fabric seat... so many features cut off... so its kinda rip off by bermaz....
then think again....... if u always compare a car with korean..... korean will always full of features with good price. then no one else will buy other cars dy... so those who bought korean car is really value for money on korean car....
then i think again..... those who bought BMW and Merc paying such a high price but it may not have all features as the korean car too....but ppl still buy those BMW and merc..... i am sure those ppl are not stupid....right???.....the only thing i can think of is $$$. if budget n need big car with all features then is korean. no need think twice. as kiasu as always, we pay little but want everything, korean gives it. if no $$$ then saga. we are just in between and not typical kiasu ppl who wans a good jap car.

i always see the new M3 as something off the typical chart. it gives good driving power yet its not a hybrid with fuel efficiency, istop n ieloop. typical civic n altis n k5 is only drive train with space.... no diff than others. auto cruise features in city? come on... rear air con for a small car? come on.... power seat? good if u have few drivers...i m the only driver so come on..... rear camera, its a plus point to me but i am used to the reserve sensor dy.... then only thing i wanted could be the auto dim rear mirror, auto light and auto rain sensor... whistling.gif whistling.gif bermaz u listening???

orite guys, i drop msg via their website and fb message them last time. they did reply me.

i was asking them about the lower arm bush issue. They contacted me the next day for acknowledgement and the day after. They said new parts is really on the way but the lady on call can't answer me how the parts will be distributed. I was asking if bermaz will recall all new m3 cars but she can't confirm that. So i just told her to make sure i get the new replacement part since its meant to solve the issue.

Should be around august parts coming in as communicated by sg besi service as well. now is how they going to distribute it only. those who still have this issue, no worry. new parts for replacement coming.

lol this is like asking for trouble...
but yes the sound is obvious once the car is wet..... hahaha the car get syiok after getting wet so it starts making the sound louder....
usually when i go up a slope then i can listen dy... in between the slope and the road is not even and i am making a turn there...so its a nice point for me to check if new parts solve it or not

Motul really good? Saw in M3club
*
the original foc is semi synthetic.... usually SC will recommend for upgrade cause they said after 8k like that a bit sluggish.... wonder why bermaz give semi but maintenance for every 10k km.... any expert here can verify if semi synthetic good for 10k km?

i asked the bermaz girl...but she never reply me on that.....

i upgrade mine to motul but need to top up rm200++. can feel difference. smoother and warm up time lesser... thats what i felt....

then the FREE semi-synthetic lub oil they save will use for next customer lor..... you help them saving $$$ (don't think they give you back.....)

tongue.gif  doh.gif

the foc is come as cash voucher...its RM160...so if u change to others, they will offset rm160. so can you imagine i upgrade to motul and need to pay extra RM200++.... without cash voucher then its like RM400 dy leh

QUOTE(guilt79 @ Jun 4 2014, 05:24 PM)
Brothers..

Before accusing Bermaz.. Remember Honda offer 2 years free maintenance?

My Honda City was Free Service for 2 years. And they use the normal engine oil only.

After my 2 years over, only they say I can use the semi or fully synthetic.

Even I use their high Performance Fully Synthetic (the most expensive one) they also ask me to change every 5,000km

I asked them, aren't Fully Sync can last 10,000km? Technician said "You can continue to service every 10,000km but it will shorten the lifespan for the engine. Whether fully or semi"

After he said that, for the next 3 service, I use semi syn...  nod.gif

Also, I told him that I'm frequent traveling outstation. He said actually, city driving is more damaging than highway drive because in city, we stop very frequently and causes wear and tear more on engine.  hmm.gif

I asked my other friend, SA for supercars also said city driving are more damaging to car's GB and engine in long run..

Who can verify this?  hmm.gif
*
Lol not to say accuse but rather seek more info. My dad civic hybrid is foc service few years also but at interval mileage. Its full synthetic oil n 10k mileage. I dun mind topping up for motul if its help preserve the life of the engine. I do feel the difference. Did mine at sg besi sc. Very fast they gao dim for me yhe service.
