Dun wan lar..
U all said aftermarket rim not good..
I try dip later see how...
Now doing screen coating...
*
depends what is ur priority ba

stock rims are tough and they don't bend easily, but they are heavy, thus increase FC
aftermarket wheels like advanti, enkei,oz doesn't cost too much, they are light, however prone to bends due to softer material, but reduce FC, increase acceleration, just make sure u don't get those replica wheels

if u wan best of both, go for high end rims like rays/bbr brows.gif , but they cost a bomb rclxub.gif

QUOTE(GNR @ May 30 2014, 10:01 PM)
Hi Mazda3 owners,

I am thinking about buying a 2nd hand mazda3 (previous model of course) since I've crashed my 10-years-old wira 2 months ago. Errhemm...

I've done some research of my own and honestly this car is quite confusing. GL? GLS? Sport? Non-sport? Which one is 1.6 and 2.0?

The 2nd hand cost for mazda3 is very distorted between the 1.6 and 2.0. It seems like the 2.0 is a much more worthy buy.

I've managed to answer some questions after much googling. However there are a few questions that I am unable to answer and hope that you guys can help me.

1. What is the difference between Sports and Non-sports version? I don't see the difference.

2. What is the maintenance cost like? I've seen the service schedule in the previous thread version, but it doesn't state the cost per visit.

3. How much are the spare parts, say the front/back bumper and head/back lamps which are the places most prone to accidents?

4. What is the FC like for a guy that travels to KL and back from Damansara area like? How much does a full tank of ron 95 costs and how much would he need to pump a month just purely between KL and Damansara?

5. The 2012 facelift version has better suspension, handling (according to some forums that I visited) and a more ganas looking bumper, any other difference from the non-facelift version? The facelift version is rare and costs much more. Not sure if it is even worth it to consider.
*
to solve your problem, why not get the new 2014 skyactive version? brows.gif

ok jokes aside
1. no idea, i thought there is only the GL (1.6l) & GLS (2.0l) & 2.3 MPS version
2. maintenance cost, can't expect anything like your old car, probably cost 300-600 for normal maintenance
3. no idea
4. FC, subject to individual, i heard from 1.6l owner 2 different versions of FC, some say underpower, drink petrol like water, some say 1.6l is ok, meet an owner, his 1.6l can go up to 500km+/- for <RM90 full tank, so it depends on driving habit mostly
5. if budget allowed, get the newer model (even the 2014 skyactive) icon_rolleyes.gif

Soul Red owner from Penang =)

I am annoyed with the high noise of the stock tyres and when cruise through the bump.. I felt so hard and bumpy.. @.@

Should I change the tyres or probably the tyres over inflated? Not sure though. Just got my car last night..

Silly me.. I went to ask the tyre shop to downgrade from 18" to 17".. They said where got people "downgrade" one.. >.<
*
Hi welcome, I will downgrade my rims to 17" when I am going to change my tyres

Ohhh.. So it's advisable to downgrade the rim to 17 inch for better performance and fuel consumption? Hehe
